Robin Nahas

Excellent improvement but still misses goals he should get. The goal on the weekend that was touched on the line when he was kicking on the run from about 40 metres out. Should have made it easily

He should be working in pre season on kicking on his left side. He would be more dangerous if he could run left instead of continually checking to get on his right.

I'd say it's probably too late, he'll have to live with that weakness.

Lol at the 'wouldn't be bothered if he signed with GWS' attitude towards Nahas. Nahas is one of the most improved players in the comp.

Its not a matter of not being bothered, but the reality of trade week is you have to give something to get something. If Nahas was involved in a deal that got us an O'Meara or similar, I'd be pretty happy with that outcome.

But would hate to lose him for little or nothing. If he's coming out of contract that exactly what could happen as I understand it. That would be a terrible outcome for the club.

In one of the papers today it said that a 2 year deal has been put to both Nahas and Jake King.

We bemoan our players for not improving, then when one does it's ok if we lose him.

Then these are the same people who wonder why we never improve.

Nahas breaks lines, makes defenders panic, tackles, kicks goals. Something a lot of our players still, after years in the system don't do. Considering our track record with small forwards, can you imagine what havoc he would wreak with our defence?

Agree on all points. When we were having our bad run of 9 losses in 10 outings, Nahas never stopped running and trying to create. I would think that a top 3 B&F isn't out of the question as he would have got a lot of accolades from the coaches.

Apart from our top 6

Jack, Cotch, Tyrone, Rance, Martin, Deledio

Nahas is arguably our next best most consistent player in 2011. We need to sign him and a 2 year deal on 300k a year would be a great result for the club. Hope it gets done

Agree good call.

How old is Robin? Still a boy. His development this year shows me that he deserves a couple of years. Get in the gym over summer boyo, put on some kg's and come out next year and be be a serious mid rotation - not just a B grader. To me a keeper unless offered something very good from a opposition club.

And get him to kick left foot all summer....

Give this man space........whoa!!
he is one our most improved, no doubt. Almost a bit of Milne about him some times ( I mean it in a good way)

gotta love yeh-nahas. pleasantly surprised with his work this season.

Are people still not concerned if he goes to GWS (ala the previous posts in here)? Not like we'd get anything too great for him.

Who are our other small forward options? Nahas has his limitations but if he went it next in line it would be King then Hicks, etc. :help

Best part of him is that he goes in for the ball and the tackles. I just wish he had a slightly bigger body.

Hopefully learns a few left foot tricks with Jack and Bull over the summer.
