Nahas and Jake King do their jobs better than anyone else on the richmond list, and we should continue to play them until we find better. I hope that Helbig takes the mantle from one of these guys within the next 2 years. We should also draft a couple of these types.

Indeed. Anyone saying that Robin or Jake dont do their job is either out of their mind or they just dont like these two.

I think a lot of people don't look at "behind play" efforts from our players. Just because the balls not in his hands doesnt mean his not working hard.
Especially these two little blokes. Major improvement from Rob this year and god help another pre season under his belt. Putting many to shame that have been in the system for so many years and still can't make an impact.

Agree ! Nahas and king have come along way this year!the improvment has been outstandng, both walk ins for selection each week! Well on the way to being the feisty liTtle 30 goals each a year ,small fowards that we've been looking for

have liked his season, and hope he continues to improve

no one can argue with his intensity, wish some of his mates had some of his defensive mindset

truely hope he is around for our resurgance ......

Rumour going on that he has signed with GWS. Thoughts on this and what would we get as compo if he has or will?

I highly doubt that.

First I've heard of it, but like Barnzy I doubt it.

Would think they'd be after stronger bodied players for one and I believe that Nahas is quite happy at Tigerland.

He's got another 12 months on his contract I think.
Discussions are under way to extend it but the deal hasn't been done yet.

He's out of contract. I doubt its true but thought i would mention it anyway.

Delist. If he is the only player we lose to GWS or GC, I would be rapt!

One of the guys here at work is close to the family and Robin has apparently been offered a contract from GWS that we couldn't match (he originally told me that about 6 weeks ago, but seeing it has come out from another source I'll mention it also). Has been very good for us this year, but would be good to get another compo pick that could then be on-traded for another player.

He said that Essendon are keen on him as well (maybe as a replacement for Davey?), but also may not be able to match the GWS offer.

If we could get a decent pick as compensation I'd take it, whilst I admire the way Nahas has gone about it this year, we can upgrade on him, and he will always be limited due to his size in the role he can play. We have to many light bodies trying to masquerade as midfielders and when our second stringers, like Edwards, Nahas and co go in there we get pushed off the ball far to easily.

No disrespect to Nahas but we must use every opportunity we can to advance our list and if it means giving up guys like Nahas then so be it.
