Robin Nahas

I'm a bit of a Nahas fan now. We craved more consistency and the hard work to build a midfield tank. And he's two from two. Well done, Robbie. Keep at it. Far from our biggest problem.

I'm impressed with what he has shown some of the other blokes on our list.

Work really hard, and you are a chance to make it.

Nahas' form this year is more evidence that second year blues is real.

Not sure about that. I think it just finally clicked for him just how hard you need to work to make a difference. It is the same problem that most our players suffer. They don't realise how hard you need to push yourself to see a difference. Our players are content to just do the work that is handed to them and no more. Not interested in pushing themselves. Robin did that this year and improved. Needs to step it up again next year though to warrant weekly selection.

Very true. Unfortunately some more competiton for places would help in this regard. Robbie has to push himself to make furhter inroads next season.

He has been quoted many times in saying how he turned his attitude around..
Putting away the playstation controller is probably the best thing he has ever done..
Just goes to show how lazy some footballers are away from the game...

Robin Nahas v Cyril Rioli

Robin is our version. Wouldn't mind seeing how their season stats lined up.

Our version is vastly inferior, improved yes but a long way to go before he has Rioli's impact.

None on our list hunts the ball carrier harder when the other team has the ball, that reason alone makes him important on our team.

But he can't regularly stick a tackle and as proven again, his decision making was poor again on Sunday and turned the ball over 3 times when initially not ubder pressue - a bit like raines - often trys to do too much.

I am really looking forward to seeing how Robin comes out of this next pre-season, as he looks to have really stepped up the training for some very positive rewards on the field. If he can keep the strength gains coming he will be even more damaging in 2012.

Raines played the easiest position on the ground, HBF and not very well.

Robin plays the toughest, small forward and does it fairly well, kicked 3 goals on the weekend, far from the biggest problem on our list.

yeah, my point was that his dud year last year was a case of the second year blues.

I love the 2011 Nahas and how hard he works with and without the ball. He is on track to average 20 disposals and kick 20 goals for the season, great effort.

We could use another line breaking outside mid who can deliver long to the forwards

Nahas and Jake King do their jobs better than anyone else on the richmond list, and we should continue to play them until we find better. I hope that Helbig takes the mantle from one of these guys within the next 2 years. We should also draft a couple of these types.
