Robin Nahas

Pssst. Is a drug test for Nahas out of the question? And if they find something - can I have some?

So that opposition hard tag, Martin or Cotchin or Nahas????

Player K HB D M G B T GC I50 FF FA
Nahas 16 14 30 7 4 0 4 4 3 2 1

What the numbers mean:

Out of the 176 players you have participated in rd 7, Robbie is ranked NUMERO UNO.
Leading disposals for the team, 30. Second overall (Pav with 33)
Highest ever disposal count in career.
4 goals, lifts him to 7 for the season, equal 5th with Cotchin.
7 marks, equal second with Grigg.
14 HB, second behind Edwards with 16.
Only 4 tackles this week but gained us 2 frees.
Again, like the past 6 weeks ran like an energiser bunny, created play and was at the right place at the right time.

Up until last year I got scared when he was near the ball or had it in his hands, he just wasn't a player who I could trust, (a la luke mcguane or angus graham), now the tables have turned.
He knows this year is make or break, his earned his regular spot in the team and is damaging the opposition.
Not much else to say but keep up the amazing consistency Robbie!!

P.s. Your hurting my wallet in PYMPS :p

what impressed me tonight was the second and third efforts. Gave of the handball and kept running hard to receive it back again and did something with it.

Pocket Rocket.

Taking the game on. His effort to get on the end of the play he started tonight was the sign of a super fit footballer. Playing that high half forward, 7th midfielder so well. It was a massive weakness at the end of 2010 for us but Nahas has made the role his own and turned it into a major plus. His work rate is up %1,000.

I've been very critical in the past but now I am just praying he doesn't get injured.
Let him really soak this new poise and ball winning pattern in so mentally this becomes his norm.

Is GWS a threat here?

the kids improvement has been...SPECTACULAR.

Him and King, remind me of the line from the Neil Diamond song
"you aint got no right (no no you don't) to be exciting"

i think it was (ironically enough) Cherry Baby!

It has showed that the pre-season form wasn't just a flash in the pan - he has carried it into the season proper. I thought he would only be effective as a sub with pace to burn for a qtr and a bit, but he is becoming important throughout the duration of games now. Good on him.

brilliant game...brilliant year..he is yet another tiger to step up to the plate....geee you can add his name next to cotchin, martin reiwoldt,delideo,foley..as one of our guns...

Yes. Robin now needs to get the one touch happening, then he becomes a very dangerous player. Keeping on putting in Nahas, you deserve it.

I'm so glad it's all coming together for Nahas. He always puts in and is now getting the just rewards for his efforts. That running goal last night was amazing!
