I spoke with Robbie last year and he was as fla=t as a pancake. Nothing was going right and probably believed he'd be delisted at years end..

What the hell happened?!? :D
may be dimma told him what he needed to do to get himself ready to play AFL , and now with the right coaching and confidence that the coach believes he can help the team and the young man feels/believes he can contribute to our sucess

well done to dimma for giving him a bit of license but *smile* me, what an effort in the preseason getting to a level of fitness that allows him to do what he did tonight and last week. his attitude and desire to succeed are unquestionable and the kid deserves the rewards

This was the very first time I've seen Nahas exhibit poise on the ball and deliver a match winning performance, honestly never thought I would see either from him. Never thought I would see him get over that mental pressure of not playing well enough to hold his own. I have always believed that while Nahas was in out best 22 we had a long way to go. Maybe not as far to go as I thought.

To the performance bravo.
To the club culture and coaching which has enabled this almost gobsmakcing improvement in White, King and now unbelievably Nahas to occur - Wow.
To making me eat my words, well, the *smile* sandwich only tastes bad at first. And its in a good cause.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clap best game for the tigers

Back to back best games for NAHAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clap :clap :clap

probably his best game for the club.

his defensive pressure was great. with Nahas, King, & White forward its probably the best forward defensive pressure i've seen us put on opposition.

makes you think that for Morton to return it may only be as a wingman rather than forward (unless there's injuries).

Nacho Nacho man. He's got to be the Nacho man. The little sparra is coming along brilliantly this year.
Pretty sure we recruited him as a crumming forward and then tried to push him up into the midfield. Seems that the extra running work has been done over summer to allow him to take that midfield role.
Reminding me a little bit of Michael Mitchell, plays the game so fast he can hardly keep up with himself at times therefore the fiddly little fumbles. Just gotta love the way he's always cracking in at a hundred miles an hour.

If Edwards is as small as a titch then what's Nahas? A bit, a tyke, a bug, a nit. ;D

I feel it's my duty to discuss my little Robin Hood regarding last nights game.
Here goes:

(From FinalSiren.com)
Player K H D M HO T FF FA G B SC Rat
Robin Nahas 11 15 26 9 0 7 1 0 3 1 19 138

Joint Leading tackles with Grigg.
Put 19 on the score board, second behind Jack with 31.
Topped the players rating for richmond with 138, Foley at 123, Martin at 119.

In the teams top 5 for consistency this season, probably put him First or Second.
Never, ever, says die.
The kid just goes and goes.
At this time last year he had only played 4 games, 3 of which consisted of ratings under 60.
One at 104 against Freo when he kicked 3 goals 1 (19), same as this week.

Personally I think he had/has a lot to prove, in his 3rd season now and found his role in the team.
People have been worried of his size, short and lean, but boy can his legs go. Not only the speed but he still gets in there, puts his body on the line and is almost always in the thick of things, fighting to keep the ball in the play.
To me, he seems to be to find position a lot easier, doesnt get lost and genuinely tries to get the ball to our 50 asap rather than using the basketball approach across the back.
Did not get caught with the ball once, which is something he has a knack of doing when he tries to run around 5 players and look all spupermanish. Has given away 5 frees so far this season, not one last night.

Up until last nights game he had not put one score on the board.

I was looking for the write words to some up his performace but I'll quate Paul Daffey from the AFL site..

"Richmond's small forward duo of King and Nahas embodied their team's victory in that they played with courage, dash and flair".

when he kicked our first goal, how the hell did he manage to kick a drop punt on his right foot while running to the left of goals ... :headscratch ?

kicks with the outside of the boot. all one sided players get pretty good at it
