Robin Nahas

Absolutely Gone (Nahas) and as for foley a long time out of the game due to injury, Brown, Cogs Comes to mind if offered a trade take it, had pace not sure it will still be there when he returns.

I had him down for 5 goals directly from his mistakes. I think maybe he got one of those back through good work.

His turnovers definitely cost us the first three goals in the 2nd quarter, and that howler in the first quarter where Collins made excellent ground to get on his own and Nahas missed him by 20 metres, the ball went straight back over his head for a goal.

He continually falls over under pressure. Love the kid, but he just doesn't cut it at this level and Jake King has the small forward role sewn up.

Reckon you can measure his pace if that's the worry. I'd let the Richmond heirarchy make judgement on his ability to return as well as before. I don't have any real doubts that he will but anything's possible.

I was really excited when he first came on the scene. Pity. I give him credit for trying so hard. I wish him all the best, be it on our list or somewhere else next year.

gee ive heard that before, Coughlan, Brown and now Foley. people forget he hasn't put 2-3 games together since last June, by the time march comes around he wouldve missed nearly a year and half.. I'm not holding my breathe, if he can be traded for Clarke or knights, i would take it.
ive heard alot of people say that he is vice captain and there's no way they would trade him, but one of the best trades in our history was the Jeff Hogg (captain) for broddies, gale and dundas.
never say never

Such optimism, warms my heart to think we can be so positive about things.

Foley said that it was going to be a tough road back, but according to the surgeons the signs were looking really good, and I reckon if anyone was going to the hard yards required, it is Foley.

I didn't think he was that bad, at least in the second half.

He was certainly paying for his career which helped him give 110% but I reckon his nerves were affected with the scythe of delistment hanging over his head.

In any other year I'd be 50/50 on Nahas but if the RFC recruiters can do what they did last year and grab Nason like players with picks in their 70s, then I'd be fine with letting the Slumdog Millionaire go.

Dunno why people are so concerned with Foley, he played this year and had lost none of his pace or feel for the game
He played for Coburg Reserves in their final and they missed him massively after half time when he finished up

Who played in the Coburg Reserves final? Nathan? I know his surgery was successful and he's going well but wouldn't think he was anywhere near fit enough to play. Surely they wouldn't risk him. Think I must be misunderstanding the comment. :headscratch

Can't have King, Nahas, Nason and Hicks in same side and with age on his side and possibility of growing, Hicks gets my vote over Nahas and he may have to go. Could come down to how many they want to changeover on the list.

Nahas is a shocker. Delist or trade him please. For a small guy you need good skills and he doesnt have any tricks either.

I swear I saw a report from someone saying he played the first half of the game, thought it was strange as wasn't sure if he'd be eligible and after looking for it now I can't find it anywhere.

Well, bugger me, I hate to say it but if he keeps on playing like he did tonight he may just deserve that place on our list

He was able to show his evasive abilities tonight, the abilities he was rookied for.

The disposal was not disappointing either.

Well done robbie .... I'm glad my little bloke got your signature on his jersey after all.......

my little bloke

That's the feeling I got tonight.  All queer about previous assumptions and judgements.

He played a game of footy tonight.  An actual game of footy - and not a combination of Twister and whatever that game's called where you sink the other guys battleship by calling out the numbers ie shooting blind.

Good game....better than I expected.
But you always think theirs a chance he'll get caught holding the ball.....does to much at times.

Yeah, doesn't know when to get rid of it. Think he's Cyril Rioli with his movement. Might get lucky like a few times tonight but will get caught holding the ball quite a lot over the course of the season (if he plays).
