He wont make it if he continues to ignore the first option available. Not quick enough or good enough disposer of the pill to be balking the way he does.

There are a few who hang on to it too long.

White is another. The pass of the game does not afford second chances, you have to be able to pass it on quickly and effectively immediately.

Need to look at Jake King. His decision making has gone up a level in the last 4 weeks. Today he was really on the boil.

Wanted one speedy forward pocket who doesn't get shoved out of the contest at the slighest contact and can hold a tackle. Apply Punt Rd.

Don't reckon I have ever seen someone have more of a crack than him today, although he may not have the talent I reckon we'll keep him dues to his contract length and his work ethic.

Was cringeworthy watching him trying to fight it out in the packs with his small frame. Dunno what was going on there.

Should be played in the forward line or not at all.

Regardless, don't think he has the tools to make it. Goes to ground too much and his skills aren't good enough to make up for his lack of size. Trade/delist IMO.

Exactly, whereas Edwards was able to rectify that somewhat through the game. The same couldnt be said for nahas. Was sad to see him fight a losing battle like that.

Still plenty of up side with Hahas

I am a bit of a fan of Robin but geez he's only got 1 more season left at this rate. He really does have a "kiss of death" about him ie every time he gets the ball he screws it up.

You can almost predict what he's going to do:

a) get the ball, run, stop, panic, hospital handpass or a woeful kick that turns it over or puts the team mate under pressue

b) gets the ball and tries to evade an opponent, fails, panics and turns the ball over.

Had a shocking first half, and I was extremely critical of him at the game and wrote him off but in retrospect he wasn't alone in that second quarter and wasn't the reason why we let in 10 goals. He did some really good things in the second half and provided some run and dash so he made amends IMO. 2011 is a huge year for Rockin Robin

I reckon at half time Cameron was looking for a shedder to put robin's contract through, but maybe he gets another year

This guys the biggest panic merchant going round, not suited to the in and under work at all. Gives it up way to easily. And when hes missing crumbing goals like today hes no use to us at all. Delist!

I'd give Nacho an A+ for his attack on the game today, little rat ran his arse ragged chasing, harrasing, running to link, create space and options.

Unfortunately he also butchered the absolute crap out of most of his hard work. A little more poise, a little more composure, a little more experience might yet see him become a very handy little midfield rotation.
Nacho would no doubt be on a base minimum contract so there's no extreme urgency to be dumping him just yet, he's only just had the base two years on the list, not fussed if he's still got next year to go

he simply misses too many "gettable" shots - the snap in the last quarter a perfect example. A true forward pocket eats those. Not quick enough over more than 1.5m to play midfield.

Robbie certainly hasn't helped his cause both today & this season. touch & go whether he will still be around next year.

at the start of this year i would of placed him as our no.1 small forward (of those 180cm or smaller).

at seasons end players such as King, Nason, & White have gone past him. i would put him maybe level with Hicks although i don't think there is any improvement in Nahas to come, whereas Hicks may improve next year with a pre-season & opportunities.

today he made poor decisions, his execution by foot & hand was ordinary, and his turnovers cost us plenty.

more concerning was when he had the footy around goals. he had a few snaps from 25m out. this should be his bread & butter, as a small forward. these snaps were lucky to go 15m and were touched or marked by Port players. i just think if Milne had the ball it would be a certainty. as a small forward you've got to take these opportunities otherwise your no value to the team.

yes, we certainly need a good small forward. one who gets 30-40 goals a year and applies good defensive pressure.

I take it you mean no improvement in Robin, not Robbie?
