Tha makes Malthouse a miracle worker then.

They have a great balance and all their core players have been up and running and fit all year.
He does, however, get the best out of his borries, no doubt

Lids 21 touches, 7 tackles, 5 clearances half way through the 3rd quarter, absolutely elite.

If we lose him we might as well sell the statue of Jack as scrap metal.

Needs to kick a couple of goals for us to win.

with his skills though - 15 handballs - would much rather he kick more - we won't get the goal oppurtunities he creates if he doesn't get to position to kick inside 50.

we need him to kick it.

I disagree. Coaches are important, but even the best coaches - L Matthews and Allan Jeans for example, have publicly stated - you have to have the cattle. Not triers and battlers, very good players.

To win premierships yes, all I'm talking about is improvement. We play with no system at all, for a supposed very good coach Wallace was bad at implementing this which is why our players run around looking like headless chooks.

Malthouse has the cattle. Davis, Swan, Didak, Pendlebury, Shaw, Beams, Lockyer, Anthony, etc. All have skill and talent. Collingwood having a bad list is a myth. It's certainly 10 times better than ours.

Yeah, 1 Franklin was at full tilt, McMahon had no chance, the other Franklin used his strength and he is naturally a lot stronger than McMahon.

Well if you, and people at RFC are happy with that sort of effort I guess that sums up why we are like we are. Soft.

I'm not happy with McMahon at all I'm talking about 1 specific thing.

The gulf between the quality and the crap in our side is what hurts us the most.

People talk about only being as good as your bottom 6 players (where St Kilda's improvement has come from this year) but our bottom 10 are as bad as they come.

Cousins knocked out. McGuane gives away a free because he's stupid as they come. Double goal for the Hawks.

So am I. If McMahon had any desire and intensity in his game who wouldn't have made those pitiful efforts at tackling. Weak as *smile*. Soft. Sums up the RFC as a whole.

If Rawlings had any sort of smarts at all he'd put Rance onto Dowler who is tall but not a body on body player at all, so it would be a good lesson for Rance instead he has the short Polo on Dowler and Rance on god knows who.

Did we really not pick Buddy..................?ahhh forget it. Plays his best game of the year against us. Typical.

Lids our best BY A MILE. Take note, the most talented players succeed more than usual. Battlers struggle. We have a team of battlers.
