Richmond 2017 AFL Premiers

No reason to post, I just like this thread.

When did we win the Premiership again? Who are the reigning Premiers? How many Premiership players take the field for us each week? Which team has the most Premiership players on its list?

The premiership force shield of invincibility has worn off me a little bit.

I need a new one.

Great pic Ghost Barrel (see what I did there? :hihi)

I assume the Cup is in the middle.

Does anyone have this shot with the Cup visible?
Maybe post here please.

It is a great shot.

If you do a google image search with the keywords "Richmond 2017 Grand Final song rooms", you will find the image that is the third one on this article: https://thenewdaily.com.au/sport/afl/2017/09/30/afl-grand-final-richmond/
I mention the search because it seems you can't download the one in the article but you can download it from the google search results page.

I hadn't read that article, cheers 23.

The more I hear of the Adelaide implosion after losing getting smashed in the Grand Final, the more enjoyment I get out of the Grand Final win. We pretty much destroyed that club.

If ever a slight thought of pity comes around, just think of the fact that Head Power Ranger Tex booked an empty seat next to him on the plane back for the Premiership Cup.

Might be time to watch the game again.

Already watched it many many times. I'm now saving it up for my own personal grand final footy marathon leading up to our back to back assault.

They will bounce back next year with a softer draw.

Every time I see this thread, it’s like an old friend has returned.
Was watching the prelim the other day , pretty sure I saw one of PREs finest front an centre on the screen or it was Al Pacino in town

There is no question that losing to us in the GF did their heads in.
They expected to win.
They believed the Adelaide in house biased beliefs that they were unbeatable.
They exacted retribution on us this year but now are gone mentally.
What a wonderful day it was in September last year.
RFC has a way of hurting ......to those of you who are still young, that is why we were hated.
We are resilient and will figure at the end of September again this year. Joy !

Saw glimpses of that mojo from last year. I’ve seen it twice this year - once during Dreamtime and then yesterday. Yesterday’s game had that same feeling we had running into the premiership. But it was flashes yet we are still sticking the wins over. Vital. Wait til we flick the switch. It’s coming - I’m telling you. The footy department has managed this group sublimely. Im predicting a big shift up in performance heading into the run home.

:rofl

By the time we finish watching those games, we will be able to recognise every face in the the crowds. They will all be like old friends.

it is amazing how many faces do you get to know over the years. GPB was always good for a laugh when he was sitting on the fence

I miss Pretty Boy’s posting.

Watching the highlights, the game was very 2017. So many team tackles, pressure everywhere, ripping goals.

Mojo is back.
