Richmond 2017 AFL Premiers

Watch the 95 semi final again and see how you go. Even if it’s just the 16 minute highlight reel. The amount of hope and joy in that result I’d forgotten about because I got sick of that being the highlight final since 1980 and had stopped watching it. There’s so much built up inside for that game. 15 years worth. I was at that game going nuts with everyone else. But watching it now is through eyes of 2017. There was so much MORE built up by then. You can see at the end of the 95 semi how ready we are. And it doesn’t arrive for us for another 22 years! I teared up watching that game like being in a time machine, knowing the joy that is to come and knowing that it’s not for another 22 years that it all comes pouring out. I get emotional nearly time I see ANY tiger highlight and hear the roar we generate. I love how the club acknowledges us a lot for the roar we give them (particularly Jack). They want it again just as much as we do! Damn straight I still tear up watching 2017 GF!!

I get teary watching the home and away games this year. My side playing clinical measured football with players turning up time and again to support their mates.

It is a thing of beauty.

How lucky were PUMA to step in a year early and take over the sponsorship.

Remember all the talk after the mighty win about 'geez the crows would love to play that game again', 'most dominant side all year', 'play that game 10 times and the crows win 9 of them' etc etc. We don't hear much about that now do we? Funny how none of the numerous boffins and pundits have come out and said with subsequent evidence of our dominance and Adelaide's freefall that maybe they got that wrong?

:hihi

yep, crows GF appearance was a officially a bigger fluke than Footscrays flag

Just had a sneaky look at the prelim highlights to watch Danny's 4,

and I rediscovered a little forgotten treasure.

Grimes hit on Himmelberg in the first was an absolutely elite finals hit

My favourite story about Adelaide pre GF was that they were so, so confidant........
That the feeling internally was that they just had to turn up to win .....

that pre GF they boasted about how they had booked an extra seat on the plane back for the cup!!

Hopefully a true story...flogs!!
