Ian4 I believe Optus stadium has been built to the same or close to dimensions of the MCG. So in time the WA clubs could not have a case, which I haven't heard noise from the West complaining. They have won 3 flags, Fremantle been unlucky.

No noise from Stdney. Sydney have won 2?. GWS will have their day in the sun as their game stacks up once they overcome their mindset and ferocity.

Port have won 1.

Adelaide 2, but all the whining has come from them, their supporters and media who hate the Tigers and how we won the GF with an unconventional set up and game plan.

I laugh when I hear all this rubbish. when we won in September, there was a lot of positive media for us. but now that the monster has awaken, the haters are coming out to criticise us. I just play on it and give it as much as they give. and never forget that whatever they say or think, they history books will always say we are 2017 premiers. and we'll rub it in even more when we go back to back.

It's a compliment to us. Those that lack class and grace try to discredit the feats of the RFC. Why? Because they're turning green in front of us. Why? Because they know how big this club is; and now the house is in order, they know the RFC is on the verge of sustained success and they can't stand it. *smile* 'em!!

For example, those flogs in the Carlton cheer squad with their pathetic little banner "Not as sweet as 16" prior to our unfurling of the flag in round 1. Half of those flogs didn't even see their 16th it was so long ago. I'll bet they'd trade half of their 16 they won before the automobile was invented for 1 now.

Let them all turn green!! If they haven't already, wait until we go Back2Back!!

so what is Mike Sheahan's view (or anyone that is for changing to best of 3) on drawn GF's? I'm tipping he is for extra rime as opposed to a replay so we don't have to come back next week, right?

Ask the players, what I've heard is they were spent.

GF replays is maximising the $ for the AFL. Clubs participating should get the bigger slice,so should the winner.

Sheehan and his Melb love in Lyon ( both haters of the RFC ) and what we achieved beating those soft , robotic Crows should be concerned with their side who have achieved nothing, so far played no one and saying more about who soft the Crows were on GF day.
Also should be campaigning that GF should be for the fans not corporate people who don't follow the game or may not support either team on GF day. Corporate sponsorship, well there are plenty games and finals for that!

Sheehan wants relevance since he left or got pushed from the subscription based Herald Sun.

No one from WA has complained.

Garry should stick to what he knows best.

I guess people are forgetting that the afl grand final is always played on Adelaide oval. We got a lucky break that the afl transferred it at the last minute, unbeknown to everyone, to that toy ground , the MCG :
