Were you there to see the game, or did you see it in some way?

It was a practice match. That is what these games are for, practice. Dimma is creating plenty of change IMO. He can't do it overnight, and he can't do it with the train wreck left by Wallace.

Ahhhhh the old train wreck left by the previous coach argument. While i agree Wallace destroyed us, i didn't see Wallace make the Grigg trade. I didn't see Wallace persist with Mcguane, White, Edwards, make Jackson a leader. The worst of all, i didn't see Wallace draft Miller and redraft Hislop on the rookie list!!

All i heard when DH came in was if you cant kick it you dont get a game. Why Grigg, why Miller, Why Hislop, why Mcguane etc?? On another note, do not underestimate the massive influence Cousins had on this playing group. While some may laugh at this it was probably more than DH.

Lol at all the sooks and whingers on here at the moment. Maybe they should support some other team, as for me and my house, regardless of results, we will be 100% behind the Tigers. Getting your knickers in a not over a pre-season game is just laughable.

He wasn't with us long enough :hihi

What is it, 24 new players in 15 months since Hardwick started? How do you find 24 new players in 15 months and teach them to beat a consistent finals team. Patience people. Patience.

Then obviously DH thinks that they CAN kick. Maybe DH watches them more closely than you do mate?

All I can say is wow...what I just witnessed was scary...

Make no mistake, the score line flattered us.

There is no sugar coating it, we were absolutely owned with a capital O

Surely it's not too much to ask to see some improvement. In elite sport, you practice as you would play. Today's result with an almost complete team is embarrassing. If these results are mirrored this year in the real stuff, questions deserved to be asked. We're supporting the debt reduction and remaining members etc, time to see at least something on field. We should be more competitive than this.

No its not too much to ask. Let's wait till the real stuff starts! Carlton won a presason cup and finished last in the same season a few years back.

you cant get rid of players, when there is no one to fill the void. mcguane and jackson aren't great disposal, what they do provide is strong bodies and experience( i doesnt take much to be experienced for richmond i understand).
the whole team will get bullied around if not for these guys. were not gws. if you think astbury, qoo, grimes could have done a better job today then youre kidding yourself!! the coaching staff arent stupid. they are making do with what is availiable, until the kids develop, these average players with bigger bosies and experience will keep there spot. though one day hopefully soon, some kids will give hardwick a reason to squeeze them out.
everyone here have plenty of questions without providing their solution. patients is definitely required.............

go get your 5 year old kid to mow the lawn...

Just got home and really needed a stiff chardy after that.

Is there any danger fo us getting some sort of kickout plan? The amount fo goals they got from our inept kick ins was embarassing. They were awfull last year as well.

Is it a pre-requisite to be a fumbler who can't kick to play in the backline.
Adelaide were rolling around laughing when Rance and McGuane had the ball. Astbury had an absolute stinker and hopefully will learn there is a lot of work to be done, despite wearing the no 12. Rance is just a straight out liability.
Saw some positves from Foley, Post, Jack, Tyrone( was excellent) nahas and king. Raffle the rest.

White and edwards...speechless. Rance and Mcguane...totally speechless
Lids played the worst game i have ever seen him play. Ditto morton.

Houli no defensive efforts and why we contunially chipped it around and didn't run and handball is beyond me.

Our backline simply lost nearly every on on one contest they had.

My worry was we looked like we had no plan, had a totallt inept backline and still no kick in strategy.

What odds are we for the spoon?

20 of them were turnovers though

Sorry his 30 possessions came in the back pocket in front the legends stand, he was dreadful today. looks slow, his kicking sucks and he dropped a sitter to make things worse.
Houli douli he was fantastic today, another receiver to the club. Tivendale mark 2.

The only worrying thing from this pre season and in particular today is the times we turn the ball over when there is no pressure. A few kicks went out on the full when the player was by himself. The margin of defeat is not the worrying thing, its the way they are playing. Terrible turn overs and little defensive pressure. When season proper starts the HEAT WILL BE TURNED UP and just imagined how our foot skills will be then. At least get the defensive side right. Some of the mistakes you dont even see in your local football competition.
However, looking forward to see Delidio wake up from the pre season and actually put in for season proper. He looked dis interested today, and fair enough too. Waste of time playing so many prac games.

I've been to a lot of pre-season games over the years but I reckon today was the most shocked i've ever been at how inept we were. We bubbled, stumbled and refused to run to space.

It is hard to fathom how far behind we looked today. Adelaide are only a middling team and we didn't look like we were in the same league.

Ok Craigie babes just got home after a visit to the game.

Biggest issue fior minie with Tigers today was obvious as the proverbial.

didnt work nowhere near hard enough, Crows smashed the Tiggies with intensity and run they ran and worked lot of bludging Tigers out there tonight.

McGoofy set the scene with a BS undiscipline free kick into the back of an opponent which got the Crows away in the first minute leading Craigiebabes to bemoan yet again why this dud was still getting games. Geez hes an ordianry and dumb footballer.
OKI DOKI - POSITIVES yes there were a couple.

Martin - love the kid.

Rance - better tonight made a few of his usual snaps but for first time i felt more assured about him in one on ones did ok.

Conca - did some nice stuff suredness had a few moments but is going to be a good get.

Jack got through un injured.

Chimpa didnt play so couldnt get injured.

Batchelor looked good in 2nd half think he sat out the first half, showed some surity also one nearly evry man on man marking contest i saw and showed some 2nd efforts. He also is a likely type i ike the look of him.

Helbig the biggest positive from the game im tipping he will play round 1 is assured and has conviction with the footy in hand, and moreso whern using it unlike Nahas.

Posty looked better, was getting the sh!ts up a bit with the slow crappy zig zag benny hill delivery of the footy into the tigers 50, geez i wouldnt want to be a key forward for the Tigers they are so *smile*ing slow moving the ball.

Nahas is a dud McGuane is a dud and neither should be playing round 1.

Kingy tries hard has massive ticker but geez hes a stop gap at bestt.

Edwards pre season has been a lil disconcerting also.

Houli ..... meh , saw nothing to change my already poor opinion of him.

It took 10 minutes for me to right em off tonight thats dissapointing but enough signs were evident in the first 10 minutes that it wasnt gonna be a good night for tiger fans.

The kids are the way forward in fact i like what im seeing from the juniors

Astbury, Conca, Batchelor, Helbig, along with Lids, Jack, Chimpa Dusty, Posty the list is improving hopefully improvement from Rance Nason, Taylor will add to the development and the side will improve the thing thats gonna hold the Tigers back is the mid level players, the Jacksons, McGuanes, Nahas, ect they are simply not good enough.

The chardy is really kicking in but am i reading right when craigles said Rance was "good tonight" .

I wonder if he missed th efirst quart. He simply can't hit a target from 20 metres with nobody around and goes to ground EVERY time.
Nahas was one fo oue best-perhaps we were at differnet games?
