Is it just me or is anyone else surprised that Conca is an unrestricted free agent?

That means that if we get Lynch Conca can go to Freo and we get nothing for him

It seem pretty unfair considering that he has been broken down for the last three years but we've hung in with him.

Not a surprise at all.

With the games he's missed, his contract value and length of service, there's no way we'd expose a top 10 player for him.

I'd like to think he'd repay the club for sticking with him through all the injuries.

And smashed our way to a flag without him?

Is utterly replaceable. Like many in our side that’s built on system not personnel in a lot of ways.

Not blase just excepting the fact that this is how free agency works. Never want players to leave, but it's going to happen when you're on top, salary cap can only stretch so far, and if others offer overs it is pretty much impossible to match it.

Unfair. Are you serious? We are about to get lynch. Losing Conca for nothing..big deal

Conca was selected before lynch in that draft. 80% of the phantom drafts had us taking lynch,

Yeah I get it but we hung in with Conca, extended his contract whilst he was missing a leg and enabled him to turn into a good inside midfielder.

We get Lynch and so we should, after all we are the mighty, mighty Richmond, but there are 42 players in a team and they all eat up resources, hence why we should at the very least get something out of Freo for Conca.

Mind you at this point the Conca story is coming out of Freo and who's to say that we don't end up retaining him anyway.

Bloody oath. You'd have to be not very bright to be scapegoating Reece for this loss. But, there are plenty of not very bright people around

I'd say Freo is sending the revocation of offer as we speak.

I reckon we are stuck with him.
