I remember when guys like Edwards couldn't get a kick in a final, and we all know how that turned out last year.

Hard to know what Freo are offering, but given his year Conca probably is entitled to at least a 2 year extension. Given the lack of compo I would be happy to match.

If Freo want him they can have him. Apart from his tackling really don’t see what else he brings. Been to injury prone and can’t see that getting any better. Happy win a late 2nd or early 3rd if he doesn’t go as a free agent.

Cotch, Martin, Lambert and now Higgins all show they can play inside mid. We have plenty of them. Most of them are pretty handy outside too.

The heavy lifters, inside defensive tackling mids are conca and graham. The others are more attacking mids

Well he didn't say defensive mids, he said inside mids. Can't say at the very least Cotchin and Martin aren't supreme inside mids. Cotchin has also been playing very defensive mid for the last couple of years.

We saw against geel and collingwood the likes of pendlebury sidebottom dangerfield selwood kelly ablett all got over 30 to 35 possies without graham and conca. These 2 also allow lambert coth prestia edwards martin to run forward and create havoc.
