Reece Conca - so long and thanks for all the fish

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

3 weeks of 22+ possession games. Thank god he was put in the midfield. Most of all he nearly always picks the right option. Impressive!

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

...has got midfielder written all over him- just need to wait for him to mature. A gem!

Is a great kick (this is a nice little trend we seem to have)

It's about time!!

Anyway, Reece is going very nicely. Looks a quality long term player.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

knew from his first game this kid has it in bucketloads...

thanks BL for heads up on this kid...

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

very instinctive in the way he makes time for himself with his body movements. can avoid tight situations with a body feint, similar to how knights used to do it.

Yep. Spins on a zac, accelerates as required and executes very well, usually with composure.

By jingo FJ & co. I think you've done it again!

Bingo, a quicker right footed Knights.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Shame about the poster!

Lets hope he gets his 1st goal soon!

Good to see him play up the ground, think he's more damaging as a mid.

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Almost think I trust him more then most delivering into the forward 50.

Squirrel love

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

As others have mentioned, been getting caught a bit more with the ball lately, but I don't mind it, he is taking longer and assessing his options rather than rushing his disposal like he did when he first came in - he'll find the right balance the more he plays

Re: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

has improved every game. continues to learn and has picked up on the pace of AFL, which he struggled with, understandably, in his 1st game. you can see the difference. like the way he goes about it. will be a good asset for our club for years to come.
