I agree with Rosy. If it was an off-field thing,no way they would take him to Adelaide. There really is no sensible reason behind it all

It could be considered to be more of a punishment to not give him a game in the 1's or 2's; and to takie him to Adelaide where he could be kept an eye on, and perhaps given a bit more of an earful - than if they gave him an easy game at Coburg where he could go out and have a beer afterwards. If that was the case; he would have probably been told "sure, you are the emergency - because you are not getting a game this week unless it is an emergency!".
That said; I would't have a clue why it was done. I am just saying the fact that he was taken to Adelaide doen't rule out the possibility that he was being punished.
I hope he goes really well this week and from now on.

8 clearances and 6 tackles is a good effort from Conca. Decent, not outstanding game.
He got a lot more time in the middle this week and made the most of his chance.

He is a natural midfielder and was it shown today. Not massive stats but applied enough support to Cotchin and Deledio.

Yeah I agree.. Thought he actually provided a calming influence on the mids today.. Kept a very cool head all day, thought he played a good game..
