If not, why are we not developing the sons of our former players ?

We don't have many 100 game players from the late 80s and 90s.

Heard from a mate that Maurice Rioli Jr has been in Melbourne recently. Played a game against the Scotch College team and looks to be an absolute gun apparently.

Saw a photo of him in front of a painting/picture of his dad tweeted by the club recently I think.

Good to hear he did well in the scotch college game!

The article is dated March 2013, and the writer claims he is 10. So...
I've got no doubt the club will be keeping tabs, but my hope he was 15-16 has been dampened. We wait.

The story of a 14yr old Rioli at Scotch College sounds like a story from circa 2004 when a young Cyril was dominating games regularly.

Stuart Maxfields son playing with Sandringham Dragons. Stuart only played 89 games us ....200 with Sydney.

Even if he had played 200 with us and 89 with the Swans the AFL would make sure their love child got him if he was any good.
