Polak To Play Against Hawks

I originally thought this would be send off game but he showed quite a bit in his first senior game in 14 months. Competed well and attacked the ball and ball carrier and caused a couple of turnovers, one of which resulted in a goal for us. Competed well in the air but I dont expect him to be killing it after only one game back

As for his performance, no more or less than I expected. Simply an ordinary player at best. What was interesting is I heard Polak interviewed after the match on 3AW. He said that the Richmond had an exciting list of young players that will win premierships (yep he didn't stop at just one?). Wow that head injury was more severe than I thought! Get well soon Graham :help

Even if you just ignore the injury he copped, the guy has been out of senior footy for over a year. Did enough to keep him because we have already have way more than enough to cut at years end.

Played a game at the G last night, and will have his final game, where it all started... at Subi next week.

Story book ending... for him, RFC have played their bit as well.

He crashed the packs without fear.

This alone suggests he's worth persisting with. The head injury didn't hold him back. He's still got the courage required to build upon where he was last year.

My main fear was he'd come back a little too timid.

He was an ordinary player before the head injury and I didn't expect much after it.
Great story to make it back but he'll struggle to stay on the list.
Moving forward we can't be carrying passengers.

Its time for him to go if we are serious. People just forget he was only an ordinary player before he got hit. Was starting to go in and out of the side. Was recruited as a Key Position player and has never been able to play it. Time to go me thinks. The sooner we let him know the better. 300k freed up straight away.

Agreed. His main asset which is marking was non-existant last night. Dropped a few sitters he wouldn't taken pre-accident. Has to go.
