None of us really know but what that says to me is that we want one of the highly rated mids. I haven't heard that Brisbane are looking at Kersten, although imo they need him more than we do .

Yep thats how I read it as well. The player that comes to mind is Adams.

Even as far back as the interview with FJ on the RFC website he mentions that we hope to pick up one of the left over mids as he expects GWS to pick other players for needs.

I am surprised that there hasn't been much talk of Longer possibly being picked up by Port.

They seem content to have their ruck division headed by Lobbe at this stage with them possibly looking at a ruck later in the draft.

If Port picked Longer, it would shake things up a bit and GWS might have to snare another ruck (possibly Bolger) early, with another player sliding.

Or Brisbane[pick 8] for that matter.With so many picks in the top 15,It would be a bit of a gamble for GWS to let Longer slip through their fingers as if they did let him slip they would almost have to reach for a Bolger/Downie beofre pick 15 as their next pick is 56.Would be great for us mind you.

Fingers crossed that :-
- Longer gets picked up by either Port or Brisbane;
- GWS picks up a ruck with an early pick
- Manson gets picked up before 26
- another smoky gets picked up before 26 also

Hopefully at least a good slider that we can't pass up @ 26.

What's the knock on Ellis? His highlight reel looks good but he doesn't seem to get much of a mention here.
