Pics 15 & 26 ND 2011 - Who should we pick?

Brett Anderson from Inside Football thinks its out of Docherty and Ellis (Docherty being his preferred option.)

Ellis is not someone I would even look at, remember Farmer ?

He's a lot better than Farmer but he really reminds me of him so i'd rather we didnt for that reason alone. :hihi

Yesterday he thought it would be out of Crozier, Docherty and Kersten. And now he has thrown Ellis into the mix.

I think he has NFI.

Emma Quayle had the same 2 names on SEN. I'd back her in. She's been pretty consistent with her predictions for us. Either they have the same info or he copied her. :hihi

Of course that is but your opinion, not fact as written.

Agree Ace but I was born nervous and this kid hasn't really got the runs on the board - but then again who has at that age.

Just got on to Twitter and EQ reckons the Kersten rumour is baseless. Docherty appears to be our preferred option, 50/50 I'd say as Brisbane have had a fair bit of contact with Sambo.

Lets assume Brisbane take Docherty and Adams ends up at GWS who will our next option be? Ellis, McKenzie, Kavanagh, Grigg???

This is where it gets difficult, the word from several other draft devotees is Markworth is in our thinking, as is McKenzie. Haven't heard a thing with regards to Grigg and Kavanagh has apparently been dropping not so subtle hints about his desire to play for Essendon. Freo are apparently right into Ellis so they obviously believe he'll be available at their pick.

Grigg. I wouldn't hesitate!

EQ still believes Adams is off to GWS and Greene to Brisbane, Wingard may replace Hoskin-Elliott in the top 5 which may mean that Port take Devon Smith.

Longer could go to Brissie as well which means Docherty is as good as ours if we want him.

Ellis to to Freo, Crozier to WB, Kavanagh to North or Ess (although there seemed to be an indication that the Kangas had a smokie in mind).

Manson to slide, Grigg to slide and Kersten to GWS.

Ok question for the draft experts. Who are the kids who are the best kicks in the draft. McKenzie, Grigg, Docherty, Ellis? Where would people rate them in order? Could be a fair way at guessing our 2 picks IMO. Would be hoping Crozier/Kersten go to GWS. ;D

Crozier's a pretty good kick isn't he?

From the little I've seen, Grigg looks the best kick to me.

hmm hard to rank them in order, but I'll give you the guys that I rate 'above average' to 'elite'.....

Coniglio, Tyson, Hoskin-Elliot, Buntine, Sumner (top bracket of draftees, so no point looking at them)

Players in our range....

Kersten, Ellis, Forster, Docherty, Williams, Murdoch, Grigg, McKenzie, Sheridan, Verrier, Horsley, Merrett, Newnes, Webster.
