As someone that has no idea when it comes to juniors, I'm pretty confident we're going to pick someone who we're surprised was still available at our pick.

What type of player is the kid Stringer? Where was he projected to go before his injury, could he be a selwood bargin type pick up?

Or we could rate a junior higher then other clubs and do another Conca type pick.

He's got a nice burst of pace, first three steps are the critical thing for an inside mid, he's also got a fair degree of strength in the hips and torso. At a bare minimum, he'll be a dangerous small forward, at best he'll be a high possession goal kicking mid / forward.

You're miles off. We'll definitely pick someone we're rapt to get at pick 9.

He could be a Selwood type, falls due to injury. At the top level I think he will be a Jack Darling type. I am not sure he will become a mid.

A bit surprised that Menzel hasn't been mention much .I rate Kennedy but if I had the choice between him Mayes or Menzel then I'd choose Menzel with out even blinking .

I'd be a bit worried by the genes. His brother has had two knee reco's in 2 years, and while that doesn't mean Troy will have even have one knee reco in his career, I still think its cause for concern.

Im a big Kennedy fan but this draft will have loads of quick smalls,that said I would've given up our 1st pick last year for Kennedy in the mini draft.

From what I have seen (very little) I'd be happy with Kennedy. He is the the type Dimma likes. Ngety little left footer who is handy around the goals. It's no secret likes the Ballantyne and Stevens types.

My question mark on Kennedy is if his fitness is good enough to spend a lot of time in the midfield.
