Still have grave concerns about his game. That's despite improvement in some areas. Other areas remain very poor.
But fair.Harsh
nice goalMiller has all the tools to be a good player except what's going on between the ears. Unlock that and he could be anything.
Pouring rain no problem for Miller with drilling curler

You still can't get it. So we've had a wonderful year ... both off-field and on!!? My comments are referring to the abject decline of my beloved Tigers in 2024. I was just reminded today that it started post 2020 flag when we quickly dropped away to 12th with 9/12 and 40.9%. That's a serious collapse for the premiership team. I'm sure most of us happily accepted or rationalised it after 3 flags. Yes, but the signs were probably there of returning to the old 'boom or bust' club and mostly 'bust' to the tune of 37 years, long droughts in the wilderness, same as when I was a kid until the 60s/80 flags. We're back to seeming more like Norf than the Moggies or Ducks. And culminating now in 3 of our our very best, flag heroes, wanting ouNah. You wanted to have a crack at Benny, couldn't think of anything legitimate, and cane up with a ridiculous retrospective action that wasn't actually possible even with foresight of what would happen this season.
Bizarre.
Leon, This is a Ben Miller post so surely your very valid comments are better suited to be posted elsewhere as they are not aimed at Ben.You still can't get it. Does that fill you with confidence, Mr. Ped-Ant?
Yes, a bounce-back of sorts in '22 followed by beginnings of the cliff we were heading for in '23, reached now in '24. There are just so many questions hanging over the club in this collapse. Mainly about having a CEO who was no longer perhaps 200% committed to his highly-rewarded, major job as he had to be.
If you can't see that, go please yourself. Yes, I'm NOT happy at all to see this debacle at the RFC I follow passionately, as always, even if current circumstances limit my involvement ... such as all those Sunday games we have now been relegated for the teams the AFL regard as also-rans.
As for 'have a crack at Benny, couldn't think of anything legitimate', again, you just show your petty ignorance. I have posted similar comments re the failure to seek/appoint former RFC premiership greats like Cotch etc. well before this during the season, also questioning BG's commitment and decision-making. Go back over my posts; I can't be bothered searching them up to justify myself to the petty mind of the likes of you.
Could expand on this much more but really, as I've told you before, I find you, appropriately, tend to have an ant-like vision and perspective, specialising in petty cheap-shots just like a pesky ant bite.
So do us both a favour. Dislike/disagree with my posts all you want, just don't bother me with your pesky, small-minded responses. That's why anyone with a little critical acumen appears 'bizarre' to your tiny mind.
Better things to do.
Was Bryan Wood the last good no 16 we had? If so, I still think it’s too good for Miller, leave him with 46.
Yes, I know and accept your gentle rebuke, but my original posts relevance to Ben was connected to the bigger picture re coaching appointments, game-plan and support provided to the playing group in a highly disappointing season. Part of a clear direction of failure I'm trying to point out. Plus, posters like Ped_Ant are a pain.Leon, This is a Ben Miller post so surely your very valid comments are better suited to be posted elsewhere as they are not aimed at Ben.
Personally, I thought Ben has started to find his place in AFL. Hr did drop of later in the season but so did others in the team with more experience. He still has to step up to another level if he wants a long career on footy and that is mainly phycological and between his ears. More self belief and some aggression / attack on the ball / opposition in his play will do the trick
David Cloke wore it when he came back from Collingwood, Ben Holland, Stevan Jackson, Luke McGuane, Jake Aarts, there's probably others, but I've scorched them from my memory. Was Bryan Wood the last good no 16 we had? If so, I still think it’s too good for Miller, leave him with 46.
Yes, I know! Of course I do. But, once again, I have to point out something very obvious (to me) but perhaps philosophical.Lay off the chief mate.
Gave us 30yrs of loyal service.
Oh and 3 flags.

Little ant-brains only capable of one single, very simple thought at a time or else they might explode ... pal!?Maybe leave the long-winded philosophical ramblings out ofthe Miller thread pal.
