Pick 63, 2017 Ben Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

We havent done him any favours with shifting him all over the ground. He has all the tools but lacks presence.

Next year is make or break but I am starting to lean towards break I suspect.

Hasn’t anyone heard the old adage..”talls take longer”
Angry Old Man GIF by South Park

Can we work an old style trade to Freo or WCE, “here’s 3 mature bodied footballers in Miller, McIntosh & Pickett for nothing really, just a first rounder. Ok, a second rounder.”

With McKay leaving North I wonder if they’d be interested in obtaining a KPD?

Still a year to go but with a new coach and the realisation his footy career is at risk, maybe he may finally give us the goods consistently on the field. As much as I want him to succeed, I am now thinking that his mindset will hold him back. Maybe he could look at Tylar Young who has gone past him in one season and use that as a target, I don't know so I am more in hope than expectation

With Kosi at the club (assuming he plays forward), Miller presumably goes back where he belongs in defence. Provides reasonable back up there IMO.

Unlikely - but he has one year left to prove he’s an AFL footballer. Only hope now is as a key back. Unlikely imo

Still after all these years he hasn't nailed a position. I can see him toiling in the VFL waiting for an injury and being used as a back up. He is cheap insurance.

He is cheap insurance.
Correct. A mobile tall utility. If he can play a role at times in defence, attack or ruck, he has a place in the squad.

Or, if he can be part of a trade that benefits both parties, that's a good result, too.

Do I want to see Ben succeed on the football field, even if it's not for us? Of course I do. What a bitter, sick puppy I'd be if I wanted him to fail.

Just look at Oleg Markov. Journeyman. Papers stamped. Lines up in a GF next week.

Whenever Oleg touches the ball next week, how will I feel? Happy. Happy for him and all the work he's put in to get the best out of himself.
