Needs to play angry or stay at home. Looks great in the odd moments he finds some aggression
Yep - attack every contest with vigour. Do everything possible to get involved in as many contests as possible. Seems better suited down back to me.Needs to play angry or stay at home. Looks great in the odd moments he finds some aggression
He's quick and skillful enough to play third tall. I think that's his best chance. But definitely back.Key back or bust imo
I had him as my most improved last summer coming into this season. He's quick and skillful enough to play third tall. I think that's his best chance. But definitely back.
He had a shitt season, he played ok in patches and then went back into his No presence, No influence Miller again.
That is the trouble with Ben, he has all the tools except some aggression on the field. I just don't see him ever being able to take the game on in that way. a pity but it is not in his natureNeeds to play angry or stay at home. Looks great in the odd moments he finds some aggression
Disagree. One of Ben’s talents is his understanding of when he can safely leave his opponent and make the next contest and when he cannot.I think the biggest issue with him is that he doesn't seem to know how to get to the contest.
It is a critical skill, knowing when to commit to the current contest, and when to bypass it and look to be at the next contest.
I am not sure you can really learn it once you are of AFL age.

His efforts at getting there and spoiling when the ball is coming in high have been pretty good. His decision
making on going in or playing outside when the ball is on the ground have often left him looking lost.
He is now around 200cm 95k plus and runs like the wind. Needs to go in hard and take possession come what may.
This. Just another in a long line of talls that doesn't play with enough aggression & intensity for long enough. That is the trouble with Ben, he has all the tools except some aggression on the field. Sampson isn't any better apprantly the tackle by Kosi wasn't bad but it took the gas out of him.This. Just another in a long line of talls that doesn't play with enough aggression & intensity for long enough.
I actually think Miller has some great weapons but seemingly doesn't have the confidence in himself to use them.
If Yze can somehow get him to the right headspace mentally then there may be a glimmer of hope but agree with others that last year was his chance & he didn't take it. Others surpassed him. Long shot now.
With you ToO. I have pumping his tyres for quite a few seasons but even my support is wearing thin. As you say maybe Adem can make is brain work but if not, what a wasteThis. Just another in a long line of talls that doesn't play with enough aggression & intensity for long enough.

Disagree! He costs bugger all and can pinch hit when we have injuries.Coming into his 7th season with no clear position and barely on the fringe of our best 25. Terrible list management to have kept Miller around this long. Hartley and co should be copping a lot more heat for this than they have to date.
Pinch hit what??Disagree! He costs bugger all and can pinch hit when we have injuries.
Agree. Hope Ben Miller can do the same.Credit where it is due - Cummins has been elite this innings.
I'd want Miller to play more than one good innings before we get off his back.Agree. Hope Ben Miller can do the same.
