Its not a phantom draft, more of a ranking of the top 20 in terms of talent.
Doesn't take into account teams needs or players they would want as its not always 'best player available' when it comes to picks.
Of note is Billings ranked at 3.
This is the player I want but the odds of him sliding to our pick are very slim.

Just checked the website and something seems really strange with the measurements - every player has grown at least a couple of centimetres. Something's not quite right, and I thought Bontempelli was measured in at 192.8 and not 194.

That doesn't bode well for us given that we're looking at pick 12, I note Lewis Taylor isn't there so all is not lost.

Is it likely we rate the player that we will take at pick 11/12 higher than Adams or was it just a $$ issue?
How does this years top 10-15 compare to last years/previous years?

Money would be at the heart of the issue, I'm sure we were always prepared to part with our first pick.
There will be plenty more inside midfielders available this year and I'm sure we'll be grabbing one. I would say it will be out of Taylor, Crouch, Sheed, Dumont & Dunstan.

I've mainly marked him down on his defensive game Scoop, he just doesn't tackle and that's a critical part of a midfielders role. That's not to say he can't develop in time, but when you've got the others delivering 5-6 tackles a game, it means you're well behind the eightball. One thing that did surprise me at the combine was that he ran a 3 second 20 metre sprint, that alone would have to bring him up a notch or two. I think he'll make a good footballer, he's probably one of the safest options in the pool, but his upside probably isn't as high as some of the others.
I'm actually surprised that Taylor hasn't been listed in the top 11, but then again it could be a case of out of sight, out of mind. He's still nursing some wounds so I hope we've done our homework and have tabled all his vital statistics. If not Taylor, then guys like Crouch & Sheed would be my next preference. No matter what happens, I still think we'll land a 200 gamer, it just becomes a question of unearthing a true match winner.

Taylor is a midget with no defensive game.
None. One way to the max.
I just think Sheed gets it and looks like he is in slow mo but no one can touch him.
And kicks it over 40 as good as anyone. Time, foot skills and class.

I'm personally a big Sheed fan, I'd pretty much knocked him out of my calculations under the assumption he'd be heading to WCE at pick 6. With that looking less likely now I'd be very very happy to land him at 12. He's the purest footballer in the this draft IMO... Simon Black-esque. Defensive side could use work as Bully said but he's got a perfect mix of inside hardness and outside class, doesn't mind hitting the scoreboard, strong leader.
