Meanwhile I'm interested in GWS. They have a coach now. That coach will have been whingeing about leg speed and accountability and the modern game to the heirarchy. He brought in Toby Whatsisname who revolutionised their midfield. Their deplorable midfield. To get an immediate result and to demonstrate the cost of the lack of leg speed and accountability in Leon Cameron's model.
In the PF of 2024 everybody saw the way the metamodern Bears ran relentlessly off the Tom Green Potatoes and the JWKs. At least JWK had the decency to appear on screen as his opponent tapped another in. Bedford can't cover them both.
Kent Kingsley is very much alive to the static GWS model that he inherited. No. They can't just punt all the slows. But they could never keep Perryman. Cumming is different because he can't get on the park.
They have Fonti coming through. They took Phoenis Thingo last year because brisk. Good idea. But Leake aint brisk.
Kent Kinglsey is learning to control his management. Agents control their management. My guess is that he's almost there. I'm very interested to see how the Midgets recruit this year.
