Could get very ugly if they dig deep enough.

NRL commission may be afraid of what they will find here.

Heres hoping for the sake of the game and the fans that this is just an isolated incident involving just a handful of very dumb people.

Agree, but something in my bones tells me more is to come.

One good thing that may come from this is FINALLY putting the nail in Gallops coffin. New commission, new CEO, and a new NRL that can actually survive and prosper in the modern era

Broncos will chase down Bennett to get him back no doubt.

Bennett will leave the Dragons when his contract expires and Boyd will go with him.

Yep.all falls into place for Bennett.Player unrest under Henjak seems to be the main reason for his quick exit.

Lockyer i believe not a fan of Henjaks lack of tactical nouse and not the best communicator with players is a whisper i heard.

Inglis not impressed by Henjak either, with another rumor being Henjaks lack of input or interest in making GI a priority turned Inglis to Souths. where they layed it all out for him.

Senior players wanted GI and that punched another nail in his coffin, some may say the final one.

Henjak was a dud of a coach anyway, and i am amazed he lasted as long as he did, the Broncos have never accepted mediocrity.

The board needed a kicking anyway for letting Bennett and Petero Civoniceva, who was going to take a pay cut to stay, Boyd, Hannant, Stagg ect go in the first place

Great to see some unrest at Broncos

Only a week to go for season kickoff, can't wait.Todd Carney done for drink driving earlier in the week, escaped with a 10,000 fine.

Todd Carney shouldve been jailed for all his court appearances and his driving history and the Roosters are weak as *smile*.

For the umpteenth year the poster boy of the NRL season kick off shoots the NRL in the head.

Stewart Manly - rape charges and drunk and disorderly.

Inlglis Storm - assault on girlfriend and alcohol issues.

Carney Roosters - Drink driving, alcohol issues long standing repeat offender.

Mental midgets.

Like most of your posting craig but that's ridiculous - he was 0.052. He didn't drive home after drinking he was going to a meeting the morning after. Poor judgement to not realise he could still be over but this guy has made massive strides in turning his life around.

Yeah can see your point BCL, i see why it seem harsh comment and bit off the cuff.

My point is in regard to Carney the blokes history is riddled with drink driving and assault issues amongst other antisocial episodes the kid is a serial, serial offender and an idiot.

Hes led coppers on drunken pursuits, his record of countless infringements over past 4 years and chances and im sorrys would see others put away for a coupla months.

Anyone knows P plates = zero BAC and he no doubt has had drink driving education from his previous efforts so if the bloke still doesnt get it he likely never will.

Hes an idiot.

Great footballer on fireld just another dumb arse off it.

Also interesting the Benji Marshall saga.

I feel bit sorry for the bloke (Benji), he does the right thing hosts the benefit does the good will thing helping to raise $$ and yet another poor decision to be at a Maccas at 0320 hrs is a bad error of judgement probably a bigger judgement error than smacking the imbecile in the mouth that continued to big mouth and big note himself knowing that in all likelihood Marshall would walk away.

Good onya Benji for smacking the cretin.

Laughable how these *smile* think they can goad people and ride em and push to the edge as more often than not most professionals in this day and age would shrug it off and keep on walking.

These dicks wouldnt done such things to a Blocker Roach or Mark Geyer in their heyday, they probably woulda ended up in the emergency department.

Marshall will get a slap on the wrist and i agree with that. He should counter charge the *smile* he hit with villification.

Point of the matter is that sadly professional AFL and NRL players are easy targets these days with social and news media, thus being out after 2 am is only gonna usually lead to events like this for them.

Like this one craig - mental midgets these types, players should be given plenty of leniency in these type of circumstances. I've been out with a couple of footballers and the harassment they get is unbeleivable - too many people come up to them and assume they can expect to be able to interfere with their night to have a chat, get an autograph etc.
Kids should always be given time by the players but adults should respect their privacy.

I'm really suprised that the NRL haven't made a play for Fevola. Payback for Hunt and Folau, and could only improve their image.

Maybe they should drop the face of league idea it really is a poisoned chalice, the Johns boys, Stewart, Inglis, Carney Marshall.

Seriously tho great to have kick off this week, gonna be an absolute cracker of a season.

Will be watching how the Raiders go as im tipping em for a run at the flag in 2012 this season should take em a step closer.

Dragons, Tigers, and Titans probably 3 best placed sides going in.

Souths have the stars but do they have the cohesion and consistency this year.

Dogs, Manly and Broncos could all make the 8 , same for the Roosters, and can the razzle dazzle Warriors get enough consistency to threaten.

Expecting the Knights, Panthers and Eels to struggle a little, Sharkies to improve, and Melbourne to be middle of the road, Cowboys who knows could implode again.

Well done to the Storm boys who beat Manly 18-6 last night. Not sure if w ehave a side that can challnge for the title but we'll be therabouts come finals time.
