Justin Hodges has returned to Broncos training after his 6 week layoff with personal issues. With Bennett gone he may be hard to control.Lucky he's a good player.

Hey Jubey as a Tigers fan what ya reckon of Gareth Ellis 's signing from UK.

Apparantly the guys gonna prove a revelation in the second row and is gonna be a very good acquisition alongside Chris Heyington who i reckon is a wonderful workhorse for the Tiges.

Long time coming.Supposedly signed well over a year ago.

Did nothing in the recent WC.Don't see him being near the class of Pommies previously successful with Balmain (Lockwood,Topliss,Hanley,Currier).Love to be proved wrong but fear he'll be a dud & a massive waste of salary cap space.

Reckon Heighington will be even more overworked covering for him.Shame Sheens squeezed Ben Teo out.

Michael Crockers plans to play Superleague in UK shafted by UK immigration and had his papers rejected probably as he has a record.

Now Crocker in limbo as no clubs now have the cash to sign him for 09.

May sit 09 out may even be forced into retirement .................. which i reckon would be very short lived no doubt Crocker will be sounded out by NRL clubs for 2010.

Come back to Storm this year Mick

He has been keeping fit by training with the Storm,

But they just hav'nt the spare cash to fit him in,

He is tossing up to sit out a year, and look at having another crack in 2010,

Or just giving it away now.

Hull may also appeal against the decision.

No doubt the Storm will try to keep him interested in the chance of offloading some others next year to free up some dollars.

A club such as the Raiders, Knights or the Titans no doubt will have a sniff also imo come mid season.

Spoke to someone who works at the Storm,he said there isn't any room in the cap for Crocker. He'll have to play for nothing. He would have been better honouring his contract with Storm.

Yep absolutely my Dear Mb well put.

Sadly his management obviously may not have done their home work properly re visa laws in UK or mis led.

Dont know how Crocker staying woulda affected Smiths re signing though woulda left less cash for the skipper.

If Crocker cant get to play in the UK,

It makes you wonder how Bird is going to go.

We dont want guys who have punched on outside nightclubs, but we welcome women bashers. ???

My thoughts exactly

Given this feedback, I don't think Roberts is planning on playing in Sydney again any time soon :hihi:

Serial imbecile Arana Taumata sacked by Storm today.

Thats 4 times this kid has been sacked by 4 clubs in 4 years. Broncs, Roosters, Dogs now Storm.

Just another idiot that obviously cant stay off the grog and out of trouble after getting in another blew.

Good luck to him having a decent future cos he has to have burnt his bridges at NRL now where he couldve well and truly set himself up for life, well thats what a kid with half a brain would bust his arse and do.

What is wrong with these immature clowns fair dinkum.

Maybe he can get a job as a bouncer if he likes fighting so much.

Spot on Craig.Very disappointing,I heard he was training the house down but I think he can forget about the NRL now.

the worst thing about it is,

this kid, on field, could have been anything,

So much natural ability,

All he had to do, was get his attitude right , and he was going to be a NRL star, as well as earn himself alot of money,

Idiot.
