Storm put up abrave effort going down 24-22 to the Eels.With 9 players out I expected Storm to get slaughtered.Ref didn't help our cause either.
 
Yeah , was'nt that a great effort , only a conversion in it, and with a penalty count unkind to the Storm, they can be considered vey unlucky not to win ,

Slightly off topic, a mate who barricks for the Storm and the tigers, like myself , sent me a text, saying , dont you wish the tigers could show this sort of passion,

How bloody true. What a difference in cultures.

Exactly,the Storm culture is a great one.
 
Greetings from the Gold Coast.An hour before kick off in origin 3 I'm going for an upset with NSW to beat QLD despite their woeful form in game 2.Bellamy set to stand down as origin coach regardless of result.Not happy with the politics.
 
QLD beat NSW 16-10 in great origin game.NSW were probably the better side but Falou came up with 2 tries & Billy Slater scored the matchwinner.
 
Storm record 30-14 over Canberra Raiders in reasonable performance.Storm had 8 players backing up from origin .Riaders took the game right up to the Storm but just before half time Storm got into full gear.A try scored by Inglis is worth seeing.
 
In Friday night footy we have Roosters v Titans & Panthers v Knights.My tips would be Roosters easily & Panthers in a close game.
 
Agree MB, however the Panthers, Eels and Bunnies have been the bane of my existance in footy tipds this year.

The Panthers cost me 100% last week and the Bunnies cost me 100% the week before :p

My tipping has fallen apart again.Titans win in massive upset & Knights beat Panthers.
 
Yep same ere MB. I had a nagging suspicion to take the Knights but was never gonna take Gold Coast against the chooks.

Just need the Bunnies to beat Parra and my tips are totally $#@^$@&&#& just when i was about to make a run on the top.

Penrith have destroyed me all year,just as I decide to tip them they lose then I jump off them & they win. :mad:
 
In last night's other games Manly thump Cronulla & Souths win their 5th in a row against a disappointing Eels.Manly & Storm appear at this stage to be the best 2 sides.

With the Mcintyre system or what ever they call it , I think it is crucial to make the top 2,

Makes it a much easier path to the GF,

I would feel comfortable playing Manly again in the GF, I really believe we have their number ,

I would feel less comfortable playing an in form Roosters, if they can hit their straps come finals.
