Whats with all the press for SBW lately, ive never heard so much from a bloke that has so little to say.

Apparantly theres talk bout him considering an offer from the ORL BLICKS if they actually would come up with one.

Sounds like SBW has had a sudden bout of the Mason mercenary itis that he was so disgusted with 6 weeks ago.

Dont think Union would suit Williams style would it.

Don't think sbw is going anywhere,he's signed up for 5 years.

Good game City vs Country last night.

For Wests Tiggies fans i reckon they may have a surprise rep in the Blue of NSW this year.

Chris Heighington fabulous game last night and probably going better than a host of other 2nd rowers this year in Hindmarsh, Whatmough, Menzies and ODonnell who is now out injured.

Heighington would match up well with Gallen, Bird maybe Simpson or Mason and Hoffman in the 2nd row.

The forward pack will be NSW main strength as opposed to the allstar Backline of the Maroons with Lockyer, Thurston, Inglis, Hodges, Slater and Folau.

Maybe a bench spot for him come origin. Good hard powerful player.

Some others maybe Finch to get another go - but will be up against Kurt Gidley for bench spot the #7 may be Finches come Mon night.

Mitchell Pearce nice game too, this kid should be in the #7 at the Tigers damn shame he is at a club his ol man would hate with a passion.

That was just a media beat up ,

Unlike the Wallabies the Allblacks dont sign players from other codes.

He answered a question , from an aussie league reporter, would he be interested if the Allblacks tried to sign him , he said he would give it some thought if it was a good offer, that was all that happened,

There is no offer, if he wants to play for them, he has to firstly go over there and try out for a club side , and try and work his way up like anyone else.

Spot on re All Blacks Kiwi they dont just hand out that black jersey.

Brad Thorn only gets a look in as he has the track record and a wonderful Union and League player.

said on the commentary that the Aussies didn't start waering the Green and Gold until the 1920's. The maroon and blue represents NSW and QLD, apparently.

Rowdydave.

Watching tonight's game, why are the kangaroos wearing red and blue? Aren't they normally Green and Gold?
Wearing the same colour jumper as worn by Aussies 100 years ago.22-0 at half time,Kiwis getting thumped.

On the test, Aussies as usual , have too much class in the important 1, 6, 7 and 9 positions compared to NZ,

If NZ could themselves a decent set of halfs, they could push the Aussies , their fowards and centres did trouble the Aussies at times , but they lack organisitional skills from their playmakers.

Will be interesting to see how the Storm back up, I hav'nt seen much of the Knights this year, but from all reports they are going ok.

Danger game.

storm backed in from 1.35 to 1.28

is this right, all the talk has been the players may be a bit tired?
They should all be fine & Storm should win.Knights have been poor at Olympic Park the last 3 years.

Storm beat Knights 18-0 in tough encounter.Score was nil all at 1/2 time as Storm had a mountain of possession but Knights defended well.Storm were on top for most of the night but their attack needs tweaking.

Sides announced for origin 1 today.Storm could have up to 9 players involved which means this week's game against the Dragons will almost certainly be a loss.

I agree the Dragons should get up Mb ..................... but it is the Dragons they are playing dont forget and they wont have Cooper or Gaz so anything is possible.

I got a feeling the Blues will take origin one.

No Lockyer, Price and Hunt at 5/8 will hurt the Maroons.

Thurston at 6 and Prince at 7 couldve easily have been accommodated especially if they are separate sides of the ruck.

One thing i may think made the selectors go against this was Thurston and Prince not being the most physical blokes i that line up especially at the front therefore the more physical Hunt to fill the gap.

Piggy Riddell to leave Parra and go to Superleague at years end, as the exodus continues whilst Mark Gasnier a huge chance once again to leave the Dragons and go to the big bucks overseas.

Joe Williams has been released from Penrith and will go to the Dogs (who are also going to the dogs).

I reckon at this rate Williams may well play for every NRL club befor the end of 2011.

Trent Barret still connected to Raiders, Sharks and Dragons, but at the rate the dogs are looking at recycleds they could do much worse than Barrett also.

News on the Craig Gower front bit quiet but still rumors linking him to the Dogs persist.

Sailor signed with Dragons this week but has been well known for the past 12 months to join Mr Bennett.

Dont know anything about the two wingers., but considering Storm have lost 9 players,

That side somehow does'nt look that bad, I wont go as far as predicting a win,

But I think they will be competitive.

Big ask Kiwi, think the Storm will fall short by about 8.

Graham Murray has been given the immediate heave ho from the Cowboys.Has been their most successful coach & has received some very shabby treatment from the Cowboys.
