Tigers looked like the winners at half time but an ordinary 2nd half saw the Raiders get up.MJ,What do you think the problems is?
 
Lack of size in the forwards has seen us (the Tigers) overpowered v Canterbury,Penrith & again yesterday. The halves too a problem in earlier weeks but yesterday Head & Morris combined well & should be given more time to consolidate their places as team made many 1/2 breaks yesterday that weren't finished off .Slack defence around dummy half/the ruck in the 2nd 1/2 suggests fitness an issue + an over reliance on the absent Farah to mop up teammates errors/laziness.

Assuming Head & Morris can work well together, this should can any thoughts of Farah (if/when he returns) anywhere other than hooker.Marshall,if/should he regain consistent match fitness,can slot in at centre,pushing Lawrence out to a wing.Tuaki roving around the forwards,fringes of the ruck would be handy as occasionally wasted on the wing.

NRL Tigers, like their AFL brethren,have a knack of playing teams into form, starting with Souths,sadly,next Sunday
 
Rumours strong Craig Bellamy will announce next week that he will coach the Broncos from 2010.If he makes that decision I would send him there at the end of this year & appoint Steve Kearney.

Those rumors have been squashed,apparently started by Mark Geyer , on sydney radio,

Storm have put a good offer to Bellamy,

The rumours were denied that Izzy had signed with Broncos & then he signed acouple of weeks later.Where theres smoke theres fire.

Yep, I have thought more about it since I posted that , after getting my hopes up after reading that article,

Foxsports have reported this afternoon, Bellamy's manager has had 2 meetings with the Broncos this week,

And Brian Waldron is spewing out the same positive talk he gave us, almost identical , just before the Izzy signing.
 
Bellamy said he will see it out which imo means he will be in charge of Storm in 09 ................................ then he will go.

Not so sure Craig,if Bellamy decides to coach Broncos in 2010 the board might send him on his way at the end of the season.
