NRL

Just back from Telstra Dome where Storm won 34-18 against Warriors.Solid performance & a great game from Slater.Warriors looked okay but they missed Wade McKinnon & Steve Price did a hammy early.Next up the Storm have the Sharks which looms as a real danger game. The Sharks I believe will be the big improvers in 2008.

Well done MB i too wanted to go to this game but couldnt make it.

Ive got Slater in my Supercoach NRL team so im wrapt with 3 tries ;D

Also got Price so not happy bout the hammy :(

Maybe the Warriors should let Steve rest and make sure he is fit and raring to go come origin. ;D

Good performance from the Stormers.

Think you will find Gower will be at Doggies this year.

God knows they could do with him.

Hughes at hooker and Roberts at halfback are disasters for the Dogs.

They are duds i reckon.

Micky Sullivan is a dynamic dummy half runner and should be in the number 9 ahead of Hughes.

Gower should have Roberts gone if and when he arrives.

Shame is the romantic in me and my nostalgic part wouldnt mind seeing Gowie at home in Penrith but somthing tells me if Elliot wasnt there Gower would still be.

A true champ of the Mountain men and to see him at the Dogs just would be really odd i reckon, just like Petero at the Panthers.

Yeah and no Inglis, Crocker and Hoffman,

We then have the Roosters away, which will be even tougher.

On the warriors game, I was there,

Usual great games from the big name players, Smith, Slater, Cronk, Izzy, Johnstone and Turner,

But I was very impressed with some of the lesser names, Chambers, Aitken, Tagatese, Blair, Manu, all played with authority, the depth looks good again this year.

Impressive win by the Tigers in NQ.Probably their best defensive effort since beating Melbourne 9-10 months ago.

Yep great effort from the Sans Benji Tiges Jubey i watched it and they muscled up well in defence good performance especially early on when the Cowboys had 3 or 4 consecutive sets within the 20 m and the Tiges held em out well.

Cowboys are looking shaky for such a quality roster somthing is amiss in Townsville. They are normally explosive in regard to starting the season but they look pretty ordinary at the moment.

U can add the Storm to that carnage. :p :p

Geez the sharks are off to a rollicking start as per usual.

Wait for them to implode come round 15. ;D

Seriously great start for Cronulla accounting for both Grand Finalists.

Am sure that things are bit frosty down at Souths after losing 2 games they shoulda won.

No half back and no five eight is going to crucify Souths as Rogers and Paea not the answer for mine.

Craig Gower may yet find his way to Redfern lets wait and see if they try to pinch him from the Dogs clutches.

MBs kiss of death.

I havent fared much better i dont think. :p

Got 7 last week and will be lucky to scarpe out with 1 or 2 this week.

Hey there thanx TT i didnt even notice :)

Geez i shoulda used it better and posted somthing like DUD or the like ;D

Storm lose yesterday,

Tigers today, just when I think it cant get any worse,

I get a text telling me Israel has signed a 4 year deal with the Broncos.

Greetings from sunny QLD,Broncos very happy with Folou's signing.Next target is Bellamy

No doubt and Folaus signing is another knife through NRL.

This BS ability for players and coaches to play and coach for a side knowing they wont be there next year is laughable and a joke of the highest order.

Just the the AFL the NRL commission are ruining a great game.

Bellamy will end up at the Broncos.

Kearney to coach the Storm i reckon.

Storm no longer montys for the title this year, team harmony will be disrupted.

Roosters are gonna take some beating this year as i predicted.

Inserting Mason and O Meley to join with Fitzgibbon, Shillington and Myles with Roberts, Anasta, Tupou and return of the Count has them very dangerous.

Manly, Cowboys dissapointing so far.

Storm desperately need Inglis, Crocker and White back.

Cross, King and Crossman along with Newton impossible losses to cover for Storm.
