Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

At 100kg Balta is 4kg heavier than Rance and Astbury, 1kg heavier than Lynch and only 2kg lighter than Nank , pretty scary for a 19 year old.
Wish we had his signature signed sealed and delivered

Story mainly focuses on Gary Rohan with a few bits and pieces about Noah copied below.

Six weeks into the AFL season, he is not only a contender for the AFL’s most improved player, but he and Richmond key position player Noah Balta share the title as football’s fastest men.

Rohan and Balta have both hit a top speed of 34.9km/h this year, ahead of Fremantle’s Nathan Wilson and Adelaide’s Lachie Wilson (34.2km/h) and St Kilda’s Jimmy Webster (34.1km/h).

The AFL’s players are no Usain Bolt — that 34.9km/h speed is dwarfed by the 44.7km/h the Olympic superstar averaged between 60m-80km during games.

But for Balta, carrying around 100kg on his 195cm frame, it is another reminder why Justin Leppitsch labelled him the most athletically gifted kid he had seen come into football.

Article in today's paper says he has the highest recorded speed in the AFL this year (equal with Gary Rohan) !!

He is the fastest in the league alongside Roban, but the article fails to mention one is 18 and the other 27

Or that Rohan's top speed was measured running away from a contest.

Dont worry about it. Wait till finals start and watch Rohan do his usual David Copperfield impersonation.

Errors and all, he's only 19 and we are desperately waiting for this kid to breakout. Keep playing him every week as it's the only way it's going to happen.

Yeah - as frustrating as it is, I still like in him the team

Coach killer. Doe sthe impossible, both good and bad. Problem is his team mates don’t know what he’s gonna do. Doesnt play the “Richmond way”...

I'm sure some said the same things about Rance and look how he turned out
Gotta persist.
Will be a player.
