Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

Low game time again. How many before you have to send him back to VFL to get full game time for match fitness reasons?

Balta on deliberately low minutes. Playing ruck is physically demanding. Each contest drains energy and tires the young bucks who want to jump at everything.
We are letting the kid get experience and exposure but its costing an interchange spot.
Played well but needs to be more team orientated when we play top teams. Less hero time (this season)

Finding his way nicely, starting to have some moments where he impacts games n obviously a handy enough relief ruck for when Nank needs a breather. Just keep playing him n he'll learn the basics to become a player while all the time he'll have a sneaky hand grenade or two in the back pocket that he'll lob into a game just because he can.

That run down the medallion club wing and shot at goal with his left foot that landed just short...

My son and I were so excited!!!!

WOW!!!!

Had he nailed that I would have gone through the roof... was that pumped ;D

Leave him in and let him play. By the time this season is over he will be a much better player for it.

This guy will be a gun, he just doesn’t know fully how to consistently play afl level yet.

Agree, we need talls, we need a backup ruck - keep him in and let him learn.

Agree. Raw talent.

Good team attitude. Looks like he’s listening to coaches. It’s his pressure that really impressed me, he’s going to start catching them completely off-guard soon like Rioli does, his intent is 90+/100. Now it’s a matter of anticipating the play.

Along with Bolton, will need to have his mind reinforced with steel to shield him from the unavoidable umpiring chaos to come. He’s at the best club in the land to do this.

Heard him say he hopes to get picked on last night's performance. Still a kid alright. Don't worry Balt you're still in with those efforts.

I like how the club have managed him from a TOG perspective. He was impactful last night.

How does it work with Jack back is my only query. Balta down back, when he’s not in the ruck?

Best prospect currently at the club. He has the build and the tank to become a A1 footballer

Yep.
Looks like he will be something special.

From the RFC website: :hihi ......he's a real Nowhere Man, sitting in his Nowhere Land.....

“He’s postcode nowhere” . . .

That’s how star Richmond defender Nick Vlastuin described his talented, versatile, young teammate Noah Balta following the Tigers’ 22-point victory over Sydney at Marvel Stadium last night.

"postcode nowhere" is a great description. Balta kinda has his own thing going on. the look he gave down the camera after his interview last night was hilarious. good on him.

He only had 58% game time. So he plays off the bench to primarily rest Nankervis but also Riewoldt and Lynch.

When fully fit a wing position is not oit of the question

Amazing stats him the game.
Only 9 possessions but was 6th for Richmond on metres gained: 335 metres.
Nearly 40 metres per possession. And one of those was a goal from the goal square
