Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

Didn't realise he was so good off both sides. Love his kicking action too, he kicks through the ball. Can't remember anyone his size that looks so natural on his opposite leg.

He’s off contract at seasons end. To this point he hasn’t signed up yet.
If I was the list manager of another club, I’d make him an offer too good to refuse.
You would easily give away a 1rd selection for a guy with 3 years development put into him.
I think we are going to struggle to keep him if another club comes hard after him.
Kid is a serious talent as we have all seen. Scary what he could be doing with another 2 years of development.

Noah Balta is not going anywhere

Just watching his body language and what he had to say - This kid is in love with the RFC

Stack , Ross , RCD , Balta , CCJ , Turner , Naish should all be given 3 year contract extensions

Every week.
Agree, though that 10 minute period in the last didn’t have any real bearing on the result , they’ll be a game soon where his impact will change the game, maybe it already happened with that intercept mark against Port

What on earth would make you post that? He’s getting games for a winning side and he loves the place

Essendon hot to trot, ex Essendon player John Barnes has given Noah a lot of guidance over the years.
Believe Noah has said he is happy to wait and see where things sit at the end of the year. :nailbiting

Most players these days tend to stay with the club that’s recruits them originally unless something goes wrong. As long as he gets a few games this year can’t see him chasing money elsewhere

I want him to stay like everyone else here. However, our salary cap is getting extremely tight, if you hadn’t already noticed, and if a club were to make Bolta an out of this world offer, given they can see the potential in him, it’s going to be extremely hard for him to say no.

For instance, if the Blues (heaven forbid) came in with a 5 year $500k offer and we simply could not match or get near it, most players, and I don’t know Bolta personally, would be obliged to look at all options on the table. ‘Loving the place’ simply doesn’t set him up for life after footy nor does love pay the bills/mortgage.

I re-iterate, I really want this kid to stay 10 yrs with RFC, but if he has a breakout season, watch the clubs come circling with offers. I’m sure we’ve done it to other clubs players, and they will do it to us. The only thing is they will have to offer someone or something to satisfy us.

The longer he stays out of contract, the better he plays, the more attention he gets, the more nervous I become.

Caro mentioned on Footy Classified that he was dropped after Round 1 for breaking team rules. Hardwick had him pencilled in for a lengthy stint in the twos but later changed his mind.

Anyone hear this?

Why Caro? Why? Just STFU with this stuff.

Dimma's wryly joked that he and the coaches have a laugh sometimes as Noah points for teammates to run to spots and he's often in the wrong spot himself.

Can't imagine the new Dimma consigning him to the 2s for an extended period unless he had done something really wrong.

I heard her say it but not convinced she was right after listening to dimma in recent weeks talking about Balta

I would give this bloke a five year deal tomorrow. Full credit to bully, who earmarked him a year out. What a specimen.
