Nick Vlastuin

We got in early with floss.
Nothing like using your first round pick to beat the others teams grabbing a second round player. :help

Probably one of the best junior players in the comp unfortunately injured ankle and really shouldn't be playing.

Can barely walk. Can't change direction. Let's keep playing him until he's as stuffed as Cogs was.

Ankle or foot is rooted, running him into the ground instead of getting his body right. .. The richmond way.

Which ever, he has to learn to work through the pain.
That's what Hardwick done to Jack when he was on one leg early on.

Yep GEDS. You could see it today. Need to give him a few weeks off to get it right.

One thing, he is completely shot when it comes to sideways movement. Can't change direction, can't turn quickly.

The ankle is still giving him huge grief. I'm not even sure he should be playing.

Watch Mitch Duncan's goal, watch Vlastuin in the background. I think he has underachieved to date but right now, I'll cut some slack after seeing that footage.

Absolutely playing injured. I saw him wince and be proppy on his ankle early in the match. He's a very good foot soldier that all teams need. He certainly needs 2-3 weeks to rest the injury otherwise he'll be a liability to the team.
The again, Morris was injured all last season with a shoulder and played every week and was the weak link in the defence, so there is precedent that we will continue with Vlossy in his current injured state.

Rest him rather than grind him down. It's not as though the Tigers are nestled in the top four (or likely to be), so get him to concentrate on his rehab and in the meantime, whether it be successful or not, it's the chance to test another one of the youngsters on the list.

i just dont get continually playing players who are underperforming due to injury

let them rest and don't bring them back until they are close to 100%

get same game time into others, Dea, Madonna, Lennon etc - they need it

its a win/win

edit: sorry didn't see BT's post

+1

It's his ankle, not doing full training atm, ankle needs rest to repair, he won't be playing midfield this year Dimma likes him as a half back

Definitely playing injured. Just like Wallet stuffed Foley trying to save his career likely SuperCoach will do the same to Flossy and Lids

really feel for Nick atm. He always busts a gut but, with his current injury, you can see that he is physically unable to do what he a. usually does and b. knows he can.

Needs to be rested and gotten right.

Rising star nomination?
Played mainly midfield that day.

He has ability. Something is holding him back. Injured?
