I'd say you're wrong.

I was at the game and Flossy was hobbling horribly in the second quarter. Bent over and struggling just to move.

Credit to him that he kept playing.
Larkin's like the boy who cried wolf, though. He may have gotten this one right, but most of the time he's got guys on the operating table ready to have their legs amputated and they're out there kicking long range bombs next quarter.

The bizarro world incorrect focus on PRE continues.

10 possessions tonight. Am sure the lambasting of leysy that occured last time will happen again. :help

Side note and call *smile* if you like, but it isn't: Leysy was at great mates a 40th a few weeks back and got in convo with a recruiting Mgr from a club that has done very well in November in recent seasons. Asked him about Nick. Answer:

In a multitide of roles from under 16's until now he has always been led to the football first. That is why he's always had low possession numbers. I don't expect that to change.

It isn't. Leysy thinks he can be a 200 game, but ltd role player. Nothing more. The Luke Hodge calls that seem to emanate most weeks are completely laughable.

Tonight was taylor made for him to be moved on to the ball we needed a hard physical presence in the midfield .Please come back Jacko .

Pick 9 not capable of finding the ball.

Pick 9 not capable of playing midfield.

Pick 9 not used at centre square contests.

Pick 9 was a flanker in the Under 18's.

Pick 9 was touted as a midfielder.

Pick 9 was supposed to be a crucial part of the midfield.

I have no doubt that the putrid coaching and development of Hardwick and his team is playing a big part in Nick's lack of progress.

Bloody hell, even Cotchin isn't half the footballer he was 3 years ago.

Pick 9 selected too high at pick 9.

How do we know he can't play midfield he doesn't get a chance .His best game was in the midfield against West Coast kicked 3 goals from memory .

Great example of how much gos into the recruiting gig, geez you'd hope there wouldn't be a player on our list that would ever have the honor of been compared to Hodge.

I still like the boy an hope think he will still turn out to be a bloody good player

I think he's playing with some discomfort atm. Hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped but still has time. He does have a footy brain.

so we play grigg at centre clearances and not nick

i couldn't be bothered anymore trying to figure that one out

richmond has made me feel dumb

We talk about apprenticeships for young players on the HBF, this guy needs to do his apprenticeship on a HFF or in the middle.
We need to develop his offensive game, get his possession count up......then, and then maybe play him on a HBF where he looks comfortable beating his opponent.
Too good a player to be getting 10 disposals a game.

Like all players before him if they show anything Dimma wants to turn them into HB flankers

Yeah well they get a serious work out playing for us on the half back line.
Vlastuin and Rance are about 60 & 70 in midfield years

Actually we're currently 4th best for opposition inside 50 s. Even Melbourne only had 44 inside 50s. Our lack of pressure on the turnover is where we've been getting killed.
