Rosy your bandwidth is about to halve.

I shudder to think what it would be like if certain people hadn't agreed to keep the personal bickering and goading off the forum. :blah

Sorry guys, been busy for the last few days, had no time to be a precious persistent stalker. I'll check my schedule though, maybe next week?

Flossy is an interesting player.

He is one to watch closely. His best is fine. sometimes very fine. So mature. But for most of a game he is a lost teenager. He loses concentration. He doesn't go when it's his turn. His opponent gets away.

Vlastuin got a chance on-ball late in the season. He got beat. Just a second year player. All good.

Tank? Ticker? Maturity? Oh, and injured.

My money says he's one of the big improvers in 2015. (One of the reasons we didn't trade - we can improve from within.) Floss tone.

On a side note - lack of maturity was my diagnosis. We're looking for improved hardness in 2015.

I am certain it is tank. Often trailing his man by a long way.

I love everything else about him.
Not sure he is a backman which is where we have played him a lot. I like him better on a wing, in the guts or forward of the ball. Good allround footballer though, does everything well.

Brandon Ellis without his tank atm.

Wasn't the same player after concussion early in the year, for which he was not rested the following week.

I have a massive concern over his tank! Wasnt it the knock on him before he was drafted? Hopefully another preseason will help! love watching him play!

Agreed.

His tank is a big problem. Crucial pre season for him, and conca and McDonough and lennon and mcbean. None of them can run. We need at least one of them to become an elite endurance athlete. They have a lot of work ahead of them

Vlas reminds me a lot of Jimmy Bartel. I think he has similar attributes and body shape. Obviously if he is half as good as Bartel we are flying. Can't see him being a great runner, but everything else he seems to tick off. Worst case he is a good HBF for the next 10+ years.

Yep.

And even your worst case is a good pick up for us.

Was just having a quick flick through some training photos from Townsville on the club website n noticed in the last pic that Flossy has some fairly heavy strapping on his thigh. Bit early in the pre season to be carrying that much strapping. Does anyone know if he's been carrying something that hasn't recovered properly over the break, or if he's just had a training tweak?

The way he puts his body on the line is crazy, especially for a practice match. I was cringing every time he went back with the flight, but at the same time, had a big smile on my face as I replayed each desperate act a few times.

Commentators loved the courage too, which is always a nice addition.

Yep - that one act of play when he went back against the flight was incredibly courageous. He got partially crunched - but potentially could have been smashed. Very brave.

Gonna be a great player this one. Just needs to think about the pill a bit more,as in getting it. But very very nice today.
