The issue with Flossy is that he was never a big ball winner, even in the TAC cup. Can you just develop that ability in your 20s? Or will he always be a classy flank type player who never dominates?

He's already a good player and potential captain though even if he never averages more than 20 disposals a game.

Bit like Cotch early didn't get the easy touches, much rather a bloke who can win his own footy an has too learn to get the "cheap" possies then a born receiver......this kids a beauty

Very solid. Glimpses of Hodge in his attack and desperation at every contest.

Hmmm hard at it yes but doesn't get it enough and his kicking was off yesterday when it's normally reliable. He really needs to get hold of it more.

Love the way he plays but his disposal in both practice matches has been rank. Def needs to work on his skills at the moment n start hitting targets.

You mean like Houli and Grigg who run past a team mate and give a dinky hand ball and then receive it or kicking the ball to themselves (after a point)running 5 metres and kicking it which pads out their stats and improve their disposal rates.

Give me 18 good honest possession's over any of the stats chasers 25 possessions any day.

been good in the 2 games. backline is his position. think he gets lost in the middle and might not have the tank.

Spot on. his attack on ball has been elite. His kicking has been borderline VFL level. We don't need another Duncan Kellaway for a first round pick

Do you really believe players are stat chasers? Both Gary Ablett jr and Cotch often give a dinky handpass and get it back for no real gain but i doubt their are trying to pad their stats either.

Yep his kicking has been off in these practice games. I actually have been surprised because his kicking has been reliable in the past.
Let's hope re business time he's tidied it up.

His best game for the club.

Did something very un-Richmond-like and won virtually every 50/50 there was to win.

People keep talking about his move to the midfield but frankly I like him where he is. He's such an effective sweeper.

Good start to the season. Like many, I am a fan of Vlas. Hope he builds and builds his confidence and fitness and really starts to put his stamp on games. Reckon he could be an absolute ripper for the Tigers once he settles into his football skin. He has the potential to be influential in future games.
