Nick Vlastuin

Yeah, Bruce put the mozz on him when he highlighted the stat that he was 5.0 from set shots - he duly missed. Nick probably dropped off a little from that initial half a dozen games where he really was dominant, bit like Ollie Wines' start to the season - remember most people were questioning Melbourne's recruiters 'again' about letting him go.

although nick didn't have a dominant stand out season from an individual perspective he consistently showed he's got what it takes to be a very mature, tough, reliable long term team player for our club. an exciting prospect.

It's a very strong field, all of those guys should go on to have stellar careers.

Agree.
Mitchell has something special about him.
He's going to be real good

Good to see an impartial and astute Cameron Ling give Floss 3 votes.
Would love Cameron Ling as a development/assistant coach. Unfortunately I think he will be off to Melbourne with Roos.

I was just going to say that Vlastuin was aiming at a perfect record before McAvaney mozzed him.

was reading the story about Nick being the 18 game final player - might have already been mentioned but maybe he's our Joel Selwood ;D

Flossy's done exceptionally well in his first year, possibly one of the best first year players we've had for a long time. Unlike Lids and others in the past, Flossy has had to work hard to get into, then retain his spot in a team that's finished 5th. To me that's a fantastic result.

Good point. He has done everything perfect (but who does); but he just seems so determined all of the time. Magnificant to watch, without being spectacular.

Vlastuin will be one of players front-and-centre on the dais come the last Saturday in September in 2015.
Will be a bloody good player for the Tigers.

Can see it BT. And premiership captain in 2020.

I rate flossy only behind o'meara from that lot he's seriously good our floss.

Honestly, thought he was our hardest, most consistent tryer today in a team a bit short of four-quarter contributors. I loved his work!

its an indicator of where we are at that 1 of our best was a first year player..good effort by him and hope its the first of many..

Capped off a great season with another solid performance, he's certainly the type who will stand up well under finals pressure.

so good. in front of a 94K final in his first year.

future captain :spin
