Half of this forum has you on ignore Zippa. What makes you think Grigg doesn't after all the shizen you've written about him?

You must be the only one then that reads my posts.
Oh yeah!!
Grigg is still a king dud.
Did you ignore that???

He got a lot of terrible looking handballs while running past. I would hold my breath every time and flossy would either take it cleanly or paddle to advantage and diffuse a potentially ugly turnover.

I understand it was only GWS but this bloke is an absolute star. How many times did he put his body on the line and into the packs? His composure under pressure and his spoiling was first class aswell. Future skipper after Cotch no doubt. Vloss will thrive on finals.

Big V is a GUN
Grigg fair dinkum, no one notice him today? Cost us 2 goals and missed a easy set shot.
And foley needs to be traded

I thought Vlossy was a bit of a slow starter today and was a bit concerned he might have been mentally fatigued.

But he ran the game out well enough.

He's a classic player this kid. A bit of a throwback to the old VFL era. Plays tough, fearless football and has great skills and a sound decision maker. Rapt that he's a Tiger.

Now now zips, no need for that type of talk

Floss is a special player

Remember how we were supposed to be buggered because, as Commetti has repeatedly put it, we were "bad at a bad time to be bad"?

2009: The first compromised draft. Melbourne tanks us into pick 3. That's ok, we'll have that Martin kid. Bit of promise.

2010: Pick 6 in a compromised draft after finishing 2nd last? No shot at Sam Day, Harley Bennell or Dave Swallow? No worries, Reece Conca thanks. 200 game, tough, creative hard ball winner and tackling machine.

2011: Pick 14 in an even more compromised draft? Swap it for 15 and Morris, then we'll take Brandon Ellis. How's Coniglio going? Just? Buntine? Unsighted you say. Our boy's flying.

2012: Pi- "FLOSSY! We'll have Flossy thanks! Cheers. See yaz."

Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!

Four guns.

Do you like apples Den? How are those eagles going? They look mediocre in a mediocre time to be mediocre.

Spot on Spooky Spoon (number jacks kids show) we have literally nailed those picks

just don't list our second rounders
MCBEEEEEEEEAAAAN!

McDonough. He'll be a beaut.

Batch has slipped but shown he can play at the level.

Still time for Griff, DA and Rocket Man.

All those guys are fringe players, granted there's still time but the clock is ticking.

In 2009 we picked Griffiths missed out on Fyfe, Bastinac, Carlisle, Black and Duncan

In 2010 many were calling out for Luke Parker instead of Batchelor, that's looking like a no brainer now.

The Elton, McBean and McDonough selections look promising, but it's way too early to call any a success. I know McBean has a bigger fan club than Jesus, but these things need to be put into perspective, he's a zero gamer who still has a lot to prove. I really hope these guys kick on, it would elevate Frank from a good recruiter to a great one. As it stands now, he's still a long way off the likes of Wells and Hine, these guys have built their reputations on turning average picks into gold. Let's just hope Frank also develops the Midas touch.
