One of our best today. Very underrated.
I’m not sure he’s underrated. Most people rate him as a gun. If you’re talking All-Australian type of rating then maybe. He’s definitely worthy. I saw today on the Sunday Footy Show we didn’t have any players in the AA team to this point but they had Jack Crisp and their darling Tom Stewart in. I would keep Nick and Grimey over those two every day of the week.

Vlastuin to the midfield today?? Interesting if it happens.

That's where he trained on Friday, we were a big bodied midfielder short with loss of Ross and Cotch, work well tonight.

Impossible to tackle today. Didn't think he'd ever be a mid (and don't think he will be full time) but versatility is crucial in modern footy. Could win us a final playing a quarter in the midfield like Shaun Burgoyne used to.

So true. Reckon he’s still in front of the B&F.

Career form.

I had him written off as a midfielder after some fails in moving him there historically. But he was great today. If he can keep that up I would have him there most weeks

Of all our players I probably feel most assured and confident when this guy gets his hands on the ball.

This guy is an AA in quality. Just flies under the radar of much AFL media; a budding champion.

Elite in all aspects.

We look to have prioritized size in the centre square the last couple of weeks.
I reckon 3 of Vlastuin, Dusty, Prestia and Caddy were in for most CBs. Didnt see Higgins or Bolton take any, and with ShEdwards down back he isnt going in for any.

I want the Viking back in defence this week. Without Astbury, and Broad being able to provide cover for our guys to intercept mark. We need Viking to control the defence and the air with Grimes.

For a bloke that was so durable, he is going off the ground nearly every game we play now.
He Went off in the 3rd qtr last night then the defence went to water. Geelong were carrying the ball to the goal line.
Apparently he injured his ribs, this is after his calf/leg issues earlier this year.

Going under the radar. Has not lifted to future captain standards in Rancey’s absence. Should be in AA contention by now. Definitely tough and reliable but beige

Def injured.... was grimacing even just thinking about running or jumping last night...
