Nick Vlastuin

The Viking was sensational last night. Besides his marking I like that he is no fuss and plays direct.

The game against Sydney last year where he took the big hanger on Buddy was pretty special, too.
Followed by the swinging elbow to Parker which cost him a week or two and us a goal unfortunately.

He has been good for quite a while Vlossy but it was as good as I have seen him play last night

That was the best I’ve seen him.
Last night was a very close second
Just missing the screamer.

Does make you wonder where his opponent was. Was he on Petracca mostly?

Petracca. When Petracca started I thought he would be the best player from his draft, easily. He is a massive disappointment. Fits in well at the dees.

He’s been demonised

Vlastuin does have the occasional poor game but I can't remember the last one! Wednesday's game was a masterclass on defending and ball use from Mr Reliable

Since he came back from injury in the flag year, he's gone up a couple of levels.

Our defence has been blessed with superb talent now for several years. Long may it continue.

His grand final performance in 2017 was a ripper. Even though he made a mistake or two early on in the game (and he acknowledged those to his team mates) he stepped up and put in a ripper effort to help the might Tigers to the premiership. Just a great Tiger who every player loves having in their corner.

Just hope Vloss (and Butler) stay safe at Bells Beach surfing tomorrow. We can't afford more injuries.

He showed a lot of character to put those mistakes behind him in the Grand Final, a lot of players would've dropped their bundle. Is one of a number of future leaders we have at the club.

Is that you Wayne Carey?
