Nick Vlastuin

Just so bloody important to our back half.

No coincidence the Dogs got a run on when he was off the ground.

I thought he was poor tonight, way to too loose.

Dimma said his ankle was in similar condition to astburys.

I posted elsewhere but seeing you have bought up Nick I'll add here as well:

Vlaustin must be in doubt for next week, I said at training on Thurs he left track and seemed to be worried about a lower leg issue reaching for ankle or foot.
Interesting that he was down in the rooms for the 1st 10 minutes of 2nd quarter when Bullies put on 3 goals in quick succession. Like Astbury last week i reckon he must have had a jab to get back out there.
Think Hardwick in his presser said he is a probable for next week.

I'm with T-Flag. Worst game of the year. Was on the Bont early when he was up forward and got carved.

Bont is not the match up for Vlastuin. That match up is made for the likes of Grimes. But that’s what happens when your defence is lacking the correct structure.

that is true but is also excusing a poor performance. Grimes can't play on everyone and triumvirate if Grimes, Astbury and Rance is gone for good.

After one of the goals early in the 2nd I looked at the backline and we had grimes, broad, Houli, Stack, menadue and Edwards there. No wonder they were kicking high to a contest.

Yep, he was trying to zone and play the loose man in defence. Good exposed multiple times. I didn't like his game at all.

Flossy played most of the game on one leg, he was serviceable for the game, but even gymping around on one shank he played a *smile* load better than a few of our other players.

Was a good move to get more size in the middle today. The Hawks don’t have those burst kids in the middle.
