Nick Vlastuin

Reckon Broad being out affected Nicks game. Vlas plays best when he's not man marking but just roams around intercepting and mopping up. A bit like Rance. No coincidence he played his best footy late last year when Broad was in the team.

This is a keen insight. But don't underestimate Bolton's plan to deny cheap leather to Vlastuin. Wright was clearly instructed to get out the back and expose him for his lack of pace and accountability. If Broad plays, Wright doesn't kick 5. But Vlastuin certainly doesn't get 10 marks en route to an AA selection, (I put Vlastuin in my SuperCoach too, Easy) ;D

Bolton exposed Vlastuin for more than one limitation and the onus is on Nick to keep working on his weaknesses. He had a howler, but worked into the game late. Another high pressure test on Thursday night and we will get more information on how Vlastuin goes in high heat.

Yep more important than any other area of the ground.

Anyone see the incident he was hit?

We owe these dobbers after Houli got hung drawn and quartered by them last year

The Club says they went through last week's game and couldn't identify any incident which caused his concussion. That's worrying - given that he had a couple of concussions last year, does that mean he's going to have ongoing problems? Is this another Griffiths situation?

It's been forgotten because he finished brilliantly, but actually Flossy didn't start 2017 well and was averaging 11-12 touches a game in a dismal attempt to turn him into a HFF. However after round 17 he hit a new level.

His 21 touches yesterday was well above his career average of 15 and a sign that he continuing his higher plateau play from late 2018.

Solid as a rock.
BTW staggered he got fined for his tackle. Could have buried Breust but clearly pulled the tackle as duty of care. Still gets fined! :-\
Agree, I think Breust milked it for all its worth and that ended up costing Vlaustin $

I like Breust, but he acted if he was knocked out - staging?

Me too but yep thought he stayed down a little too long. Same as in the Rance incident.

Had a bit of a chuckle when as soon as the Umpire said “Jeager can you take his kick” Breust jumped straight up. :hihi

Breust is a good player but not liking this part of his game.

Hard to believe he hasn't played 200 games by the way he plays. Ice cold General.

Raises the bat on Tuesday night. Onya Vlas.

Very good footballer and important to our set-up.

He'll play 200 if injury permits.

It’s a good point, does feel like his been back there forever now.

Congrats Tigga, one of my all time favourite Tigers, not just because he let me hold his premiership medallion
