Commentators read his early contests wrong. Said he was struggling. Nope. Our mids weren't getting back and Tormund was having to come off his man to cover. It looked like he lost the contest but it wasn't his to lose. When we settled, he dominated.

Gotcha, thanks. Haven't been able to follow it much. Might catch up with it in the off-season. A relaxing break now.

Disagree, he was sloppy at first. He wasn't his normal composed self when he had the ball.
He did get into the game fairly quickly after that though.

It's so impressive how he has won a flag and been able to renovate a house on The Block at the same time.

Yep two early mistakes. The fumble that gifted Betts a goal and then a kick straight to the opposition. Brilliant after that. Cotchin's first kick under no pressure also went straight to the opposition. Dusty fumbled the ball early. A lot of nerves early on no doubt.

Gave me chills. It was old Richmond to a tee. I thought 'Not now, not today!". But he recovered to play his usual (since injury break) quality game. One of our big improvers this year.

Showed his maturity when despite a couple of basic errors at the start, grew in confidence and the Crows couldn't get past him. So important as part of our defensive structure

On the way to becoming one of the great medium defenders of his generation. Corey Enright with aerial presence, less pace, but tougher.

He is half Enright, half Archer. I floated trading him but he’s made that impossible. You just wouldn’t.

Yes. Archer is 182. A tall. Enright 188, a small. Tormund 187, a hybrid. (I bet he votes Greens.)

Trade him? I'd rather trade Lids!

I have a feeling that the final series will be a catalyst for Nick to take his game to Te next level.
Think we will see a more offensive, confident player controlling games from H.B.
Looking forward to his fearless attack on the ball.
