I'm nowhere near qualified enough to say he aint worth 9, but he would have to be the least exciting prospect in the top 15 I reckon.
Yeh he did. Completed half the testing at the National Combine and finished off what he missed at the Vic Combine. For someone who has had 12mths off from study to work on his endurance and speed his results were only just a pass. Nothing to suggest he will be anything more than a solid player that can't spend long periods in the midfield

Conca rumours started around Sunday by memory so around 4 days prior to the draft that year, was to do with the fact that he had to be flown over for the draft when most people didn't expect him to be (I think).
The mail on Ellis was also pretty strong this time last year. Whilst Vlastuin seems the front runner it's pretty open this year in comparison IMO.

I have too much faith in human nature to even entertain the notion that FJ would say "Vlas" if GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRundies is on the board. I reckon FJ will take whoever Port dont take out of Mayes and GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRundies. I'll be wrapped with either.

Not disagreeing with that was purely commenting on the 'leaks' on who we were to take. Haven't watched any junior footy apart from people's write ups and highlights so it's very hard to form an (meaningful) opinion. Grundy seems a likely type though

Think it's hard to have any degree of certainty unless you know what other clubs are thinking.
I am in the same boat Vin, although ive used a trillion trilobytes watching internet footage. It seems to me that the weight of evidence (blokes on here who do watch and know a fair bit + our poll with a sample of over 100) says pick 9 is overpriced for a deisel powered HBF'er. Maybe FJ is playing tricks? maybe hes had a knock on the head? maybe hes a double agent? maybe he knows something us cyber experts dont? Only 2 sleeps till we find out.
