Elam has been one of the biggest 1st round draft busts for Newsome and the Ravens ever. Just has no instincts or feel for the game, which is baffling because he was always around the ball at Florida. He walked right into Keenan Allen's block on that TD screen.

Jimmy Smith was probably the one player (Flacco aside) we could least afford to lose and it's costing us big time. The bigger problem is our defensive coordinator doesn't compensate for the lack of talent in the secondary by using our defensive line and outside linebackers to blitz and wreak havoc and force the QB to make silly decisions. Painfully vanilla on defense, hoping we can entice Rex Ryan back.

After that performance we just saw, he'd be packing his bags by now. :hihi

Any angry 49ers fans out there? Ouch. :hihi

Looks like Harbaugh has mentally checked out though they've copped a heap of injuries, particularly on defense. Kaepernick looks very average as well.

If Harbaugh leaves, they will drop right back to the pack, particularly considering their division.

Alex Smith might be smirking....

How about that Rex Ryan....any offers to return to Baltimore? :hihi

Sad Bengal fan :(

Frustrated Steelers fan. How the *smile* do we do it? Lose to lowly teams (and at home) and beat higher teams.

Alex Smith can't throw beyond the line of scrimmage and is getting paid millions, if I was him I'd be smirking permanently!

And if we are as aggressive as we were today, there is no need for Ryan. With our pass rush in full flight, it doesn't matter who plays corner. I must say I don't mind the Vikings, plucky, lots of young talent and a great coach who the Bengals are really missing.

Good game from Flacco (one of his best this season) and win against the improving Dolphins (who are still dreaming for that Dan Marino era again ;D)

It's a real battle for that divisional title. I reckon the Ravens will make it and hopefully we can get a wildcard spot at best.

Been Joe's best season by far, I think he's a top 10 QB or so. Hasn't got the gaudy numbers of Luck, Manning, Brady etc. but he has been so efficient and consistent and when you've got a rocket for an arm you're always going to be able to create big plays.

Having a brilliant offensive line has helped too, along with the improved running game. In 2013 we had the worst O Line and running game in the league, so it's been a remarkable turnaround.

I think we will snag the division as well, our remaining games look simple enough on paper. Steelers look likely for a wildcard spot, particularly if they sweep the Bengals.

Amazed that the Steelers have done as well as they have.
Can't believe they're still a chance for a play-off berth.
Falcons, Chiefs & Bengals again in the last 3 rounds, so probable 2-1 finish, meaning 10-6 for the season.

What's even crazier is the Falcons are looking like having a home playoff game, and will probably finish 6-10 or so. Heck, even the Panthers still have a chance to win that division.

We can make it 3-0 as we have the Chiefs at home and are beatable. We just need for Ben and the offence to just connect!. Have a look at that last quarter today against Cincinnati. This team is as frustrating as that other yellow & black....... ;D

Yep, the year was already gone but that hurt in more ways than one.

Oakland....geez... and I thought our loss to the Bucs was bad enough.

Big pressure on Harbaugh now. I'm afraid that superhero Kaepernick is starting to look more like a one-off QB ala Tim Tebow. ;D

Cross Bay game so always will be close.

Harbaugh won't be there next year with a bit of luck, Kap just having a bad year :yellowno

Another agonising loss for the 9ers. Season over at 7-8.....see ya Jimmy.

He's gonna get a massive deal from Michigan or Oakland you'd think. Can't help but think the 49ers are gambling hugely by running him out of town.

Coaches of his calibre don't grow on trees, look at someone like Jeff Fisher who is half the coach that Harbaugh is yet has been in the league for 20+ years.

Agree. I doubt he'd demote himself to college level as there would be some NFL teams ready to sack their coaches (maybe NY Jets, Oakland, Chicago, Atlanta)

Great to see the Steelers clinch a wildcard or divisional playoff spot. Your Ravens have a slim chance for only a wildcard spot all depending on Cincinnati losing the next 2 games (Denver tomorrow and Steelers next Sunday night) and Chargers losing to Chiefs next week.

Our injuries have just caught up to us. Monroe, Wagner, Smith, Webb, T. Smith, Forsett, Ngata suspended and 7 CBs on IR have taken its toll.

I think the Bengals will lose both games, but I can't imagine the Chargers losing to the Chiefs unless Andy Reid calls the perfect game.

For a team that has had so much success and has had 3 losing seasons in 20 years some of the whinging by Ravens fans is just mystifying. Tiges fans wish we were that spoilt!
