New Clash Jumper revealed..

Expect we will be wearing it 11 times a year by 2017.

Clash guernseys are slowly becoming away guernseys - well played by the AFL who have let it creep up on fans and once they implement fully, we will be all too used to it to bother complaining.
About what? This thread seems to demonstrate that many people like the idea and like the new jumper.

It's great.
Move on.

There's nothing I can do about it. The dismal tide. But if we were wearing this on the Premiership dias a little part of me would be throwing up.

On the website it says that we will most likely play in it against Port, Freo, St.Kilda, Adelaide and Essendon. Obvious design change really, it's better than the wider sash and as long as we win games in it I don't think people will have an issue.

I don't like it, but of all the crappy decisions that could've been made, this is probably the least crappy.

This.

Never had an issue distinguishing Richmond players from the opposition (other than on a bog track in eras past). Clash jumpers are symbolic of the AFL's compulsion to mess with the game.

With the AFL insisting on a clash jumper, then this seems like the best option to me.

Same colours, same design.

The AFL said our previous design was no longer acceptable, and we had to produce either a mostly white or mostly yellow design.

Much prefer this than a white jumper.

The electric yellow training jumper would have been a brave move.
Mostly white? Since when has white ever been a part of Richmond's colours?

Freo?? WTF?? So purple and White clashes with yellow and black? *smile* me, God help us.

I preferred the previous one as it was more like our jumper with some extra yellow. But I understand the AFL has asked us to change it due to the Port and West Coast issue. On that basis, the reverse Jumper is fine with me. Prefer this to a white monstrosity or a cartoon tiger or something.

Still don't think it will help the clash with West Coast though

How long will it take Blowhard Hill to dump their abomination of a clash strip and do what we've done? About 12 seconds I reckon.

Why don't they just revert to an all-pink with a thinner jet logo that looks remarkably like a needle.

I just think this all is an absolute joke. Jumper clashes. Gee, what has this league come to.

West Coast should be made to go back to their original royal blue, not the almost black dark navy they have now. They're trying to steal our colours by stealth.

Never said it was.

The fact is, the AFL gave us two options - a mostly white, or mostly yellow jumper, and asked us to come back with designs.

Comfortable with the reverse strip as a forced alternative clash jumper.
Fools in suits should never have allowed so many " new " clubs to manufacture strips that clashed with the " original " club strips in the first place.
One thing *smile* me though. Why the hell did it take the experts, more fools in suits, so long to realise the flaming obvious solution for so long? Straight forward swap, black n yellow jumper to a yellow n black jumper,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tchk simples. *smile* meercats in suits should be taken out the back n shot.
