I think our current coaching group lacks some experience, mostly young inexperienced coaches. I would have htought a bit more experience in there would help.

i think Hardwick has plenty on his resume, 4 x premierships as a player, (1 ess, 1 port and 2 @ north u19) and 1 as assistant coach so he's effectively learnt the coaching trade from being coached by Denis Pagan, Sheedy, Williams and Clarkeson.. A

This is as good as you could get. i think we just need to let him grow into the job and have patience. He didnt have a lot to work with when he arrived and i think he's put together a fantastic team of assistants..

No argument with any of that however it is different beign coached by people than running your own team. I do like him though but think some help from an older head wouldnt hurt. Has to be the right person though who has ualities we are not strong in with our coaching group.; What they are I do not know.

This shows that Dimma has great PEDIGREE to be an AFL coach, but he stills only has 39 games experience as senior coach whilst his assistants are all quite inexperienced, Campbell and Daly have been in the system for a few years, but the others are pretty green.

A wise head is needed. It doesn't have to be a 20 veteren, just someone who has been through it all before....Knights, Bailey, Neil Craig

Pretty sure I read an article earlier in the year about one of Collingwoods assistants being out of contract and basically in the article it was claiming he is the architect behind Collingwoods defensive 'Zone', a few clubs names were thrown up that were interested including Richmonds, if it were true I would prefer to grab someone from Collingwood that could possibly help us develop our game plan even further and give us critical insight into Collingwoods inner sanctum.

These blokes ultimately, are all failures at the coaching game, therefore why would we want them at the club. Knights yes, he's a tiger and a legend of the club but the other meh,,

I reckon the best mentor would be Roos. Experienced coach. One of the few to see through our purple patch. Historically doesn't like us. Young enough to be relevant. Doesn't want to be a senior coach any more.

Yeah Roos would be a great get but seems like he doesnt have the passion to go back into footy anytime soon.

I think Ratten is a good example. Brought in guys like Gavin Brown and Richardson and look at the scum's improvement.

I don't believe he wants to leave Sydney until his boys finish their schooling Baloo. At least another couple of years. Unless you see it as a fly in/ fly out job.
I believe we'd need somebody more full time

It's Scott Watters. There's a few clubs interested, including us.
Also coached Subiaco FC to back to back flags 07-08 (lost 09)
Would be a major win if we get him.

You mean there are still some RFC supporters who listen to Barrett ?

Not sure, but just caught the end of channel 7 sports news (from Adelaide).
It mentioned Neil Craig was in Melbourne "talking to AFL club Richmond".
Not quite sure whether I heard it correctly, does anyone have any further info?
